    I can't believe I've found this video and from someone else in Ireland no less! Thank you so much for for your videos on the Hornbeam hedge on stilts, it's exactly what I'm hoping to do with 8 Hornbeams I'll be buying in November as bareroot. I've struggled to find any information on how to approach it so I'm off to binge the rest of your videos on this now :)

      Thanks deridre your welcome, Thread grafting hornbeam I did a number of years ago might be of benefit where you need a branch where non is growing all the best with your project 😀

    Could I ask, did you need to use a frame to shape the trees?

      Hi deirdre no frame I just planted them 32/34 inches apart and trimmed them front and sides once reached the desired height I topped them at that. Eventually the just knit together becoming full. I will make a video explaining the whole process this week and upload for your question maybe tomorrow 👍
