Great video, Next time your in NorCal, I will get the Tundra stuck so you can make more of your great video. Love the attitude of all the people. Every one looked like they had a good time. Hope the driver with the twerked steps gets actual sliders..... Cheers.
That's a lot of pick-ups! BTW, when someone not really used driving in trail, it can be hard to focus on 2 persons giving directions. But the passenger and driver side explanation that was funny!😂
Good video,we did that trail back in May and ran into to much snow which made it impassable. Actually the Haunted House...lol...at the top was a snow lookout for the railroad tracks. Guys would oack in with mules and stay for months.
If you do this trail, you can add Pierce OHV loop to the run. Mild trail with a couple little obstacles and some water crossings. Make a left before the start of Signal Peak and then another left at the fork where the Fordyce starts.
I did this in my stock ram quad cab with33 inch AT tires, by myself. I even went down the hard granite section 😅.the tree root by the rock in the middle got my dorr though. Im on 35 muds now with sliders and bumper w winch.
Good job guys but too many voices causes confusing and less confusing could mean less damage on a technical trail however super fun to watch keep on keeping on and see you on the next one.
I had those steps on my jt. Bent them beyond and after hanging me up on a stump, causing some to do a insane sideways slide via lockers to not roll over, I replaced them with actual rails angled up. Body mount, pinch mounted and under body mounted. Real sliders. No issues like that again. They are stupid to put on rubicons.
What did yall pay for gas up there, 5 bucks a gallon? That looks like a fun place to check out if I was still out there. Good thing your there cuz they are gonna need you. Keep up the great videos.
Been on a few trails with various rigs. Them gladiators struggle on rocks unless theyr lifted 5" or higher. My cherokee has a 4.5 lift on 33's & i had less issues than gladiators on 35's & lifted
@@4x4rescue74 Yeah I had it in my JL before the arb. The clutches in it were already falling apart. The more you off road, the quicker it’ll wear out. Have it in my gladiator now but this time I think I’m doing arb front/ Detroit rear.
Good job on the video, keep posting!! It’s not that tough, it’s a rock, get over it! LIGHTS before LOCKERS 🤯🤬, let’s see how they did in Driveline Hill😂😂. Seriously, lose the “makes my jeep look good in the mall parking lot” and #1 to do: rear locker and rock sliders
Wasn't gonna do it, but can't help myself...I've never seen a group that size that has so few drivers !!! Money spent on a rig does not a driver make!!! All the folks I saw in this vid, should stay on flat ground...hopefully off the streets, until someone, somehow, teaches them how to drive!!! Buying a $50k vehicle doesn't make you able to tackle tough courses !!!! Can't believe you'ld post evidence of the stupidity on you tube...even the " master Wes " shows his incompetence...but wait !! I see the license plates & it all becomes Cristal clear !!! The golden state where everybody is an expert.....at nothing but living 500 to an acre !!!
Those predator steps should be the first thing to come off any off road vehicle.
I tell all my buddies to put those shits off, watching that first gladiator was cringe.
Wes, you need to get some lockers... Thanks for the update on the trail.

Haven’t done some good crawling since I lived in Colorado and had my XJ, mountain trips are always a good time with the right crew
That fire road #85 that you came out on is closed because they're doing construction at the Fordyce dam. 6/2024
Looks like some pretty cool views on that trail. I'm guessing that guy in the gladiator is gonna ask for a lift and new steps for Christmas. LOL
That's some nice wheeling
Word
Nice wheeling vid. Great views. I enjoy these type of videos.
What a great video. That view is amazing!

Its all about the lines, great video.
What a great trail ride! Thanks for sharing. Cant wait till start doing these trips with my Gladiator
Just love your videos, love the country I’m from Montana and we have some amazing places to go. Please be safe out there.😊
that scx10 license plate was awesome.....axial all the way
A couple years ago there was a range rover that slid off the trail halfway to the cabin. Was almost a tumbler.
I’ve pulled a few range rovers off the trail around there..lol
@4x4rescue74 i would've liked to see that recovery.

Wow what a fun trail!! Good times!!
That looks pretty fun. Might have to hit that trail on my mini bike soon!
Great video! Cool trail, I'll probably never make it to California though.
looks like a fun place..... awesome rigs

With the way, I plan on modifying my jeep gladiator that looks like a fun trail
Need to see you wheeling in the videos more often
Looks fun stay safe and stay positive
Love this video. Different terrain. Learned a lot! Good stuff😅
What a great view from the top. Wes you might want to get those rear lockers if you plan on doing more rock/tree root climbs.
It’s on the list..lol
Those trails in north cali are awesome
That trail looks SICK!!!
Great video, really enjoy your content
Awesome video, nice work!
Wow, I don’t know what changed but we’ve been there a year ago and I did not struggle on my gladiator whatsoever
Looks like a Lot of fun
Just did this in my Tundra for the first time last week!!
How did it do? I have a 2013 crewmax with 33's. I am thinking about trying it.
@@coffee-doggIt was great, let me link the video in the next comment!!

Beautiful country. Would love to take my jku up that, but sure am glad rock obstacles aren't in my part of south Ga.

You said you took the hard way up, it did not look like 2wd would be enough.. Looks like lockers and 35+ wheels are needed on this trail.
Too many spotters. One person needs to direct. You are giving me a headache
I thought the same thing
Hell ya bro dam want to do that stuff so bad
cries in Subaru.
Ugh, it was hard watching that Rubicon trash the sliders. Should've got the ones without the steps.
I wouldn't want to get behind this group. Even going up Cadillac outta Rubicon Springs. Might take a month of Sundays.
Why, oh why are folks going on trails with the side step boat anchors? I hope it didn't cause panel damage.
This to me shows why a 6 inch lift and lockers is a minimum requirement.😅
i made it up signal peak with 4" LA lift and stock d30/35 axles in my WJ.
That ride could get expensive.
That gladiator got his rockers wrecked RIP sad to see that.
Does your gladiator have the trac-lok "anti spin" rear diff? And what size tires did the other gladiators have? Cheers!
It does have limited slip in the rear but doesn’t always engage when it should. I believe the other JTs had 37s & 40s with lockers

Man you guys wouldn't last on the Battlement Mesa Trail in Colorado
Space to drop an truck an trailer at trail entry??
Yeah
Poor guy has 15 people giving him directions….
