The Archbishop has stepped forward to take on the champion of the Philistines. Why ask has he gone too far?
No, he didn't. Archbishop Viganò is just telling the plain truth that Jorge Mario Bergoglio was not, is not and will never be a valid pope. For the Archbishop to be a sedevacantist, he must consider John XXIII, Paul VI, John Paul I, John Paul II and Benedict XVI to be invalid popes.
Thank the Lord for Abp Vigano. ❤. We need more strong faithful men to step up as he has.

Fence-sitting is lukewarmness. Sedevacantists and Sedeprivationists are not in schism but they do force the question which rocks the boat and makes life difficult.

I think you both very fair to ABP Vigano. You're right, we need to be patient to find out how this pans out. We are living in a time of extreme contradiction and confusion. Give it up to God. Meanwhile, do not judge ABP Vigano. 🙏
Pope had abandoned the papacy with proof of him redefining the papal office to be the president presider of world council of churches.
More men need to go too far, as you put it. How would Jesus regard pachamama episode? He forbid even any vessel to be carried through His Father's house. Mark 11:16, and that pagan thing was permitted during Mass. Vigano! Sede ok for me.
But the validity of a papal conclave is an act of administration. So cum ex apostolatum officio can’t be infallible on that point. The rules of the conclave have been changed by several subsequent popes.
Could this declaration be what was deposited at the tribunal in his defence and response? How does St John Paul 2 rules tabled for future conclaves align?

You realize protestants don't recognize the papacy at all? Viganò acknowledges papal supremacy but thinks the election could not have been valid: similar to annulment concerning marriage.

Don't confuse that with the matter of Bergoglio's highly questionable actions. I would like disinterested bishops to examine the record to resolve the question whether Bergoglio has the requisite Catholic faith and consented to assumption to the papacy. There is plenty of probable cause for the bishops to take action. This is what Vigano is asking for.
