Love the energy and the message you trynna put out. It’s true, I agree with what you said at the end. The army has definitely lowered recruitment standards 💯💯
The thing is that we as an Army, we aren't engaged in real combat anymore and that's not pushing the soldiers and leaders to set their mind to be on alert and ready to fight. Nowadays the focus is meetings, PowerPoint slides, check the block trackers and so on. More and more the time is spent in front of the computer and less training for a real deployment.
I’m going to give my honest opinion. I love when individuals who where the uniform say the Army has gotten “soft”. We have to remember, every generation is different regardless of when we came in. I had to learn, if you have to yell to get your point across or just for anyone to listen, then sometimes you have to look in the mirror. I came into the military in 2012, EVERY UNIT is different. But let’s be real, PT is an individual effort, but also what are we doing for PT that’ll target everyone’s needs? I think we all need to learn how to adapt, that’s the problem with a lot of us in this uniform. I’m not saying make changes that’ll affect the mission. Being in Recruting has made me understand a lot more. A lot of us lack emotional intelligence. Now, train as we fight, ABSOLUTELY!! But we can change until the doctrine changes
