The Esplanade Tranquille is a urban public square welcoming for everyone all through the year. In summer, this public square is arranged as a wide open-air terrace disposing confortable tables and benches to sit and relax while eating or drinking. In winter, this public square is transformed into a skating rink.
Join us for a discovery of the skating rink in winter!
This is the largest refrigerated skating rink in Downtown Montreal having a total area of 1500 m^2. The access to the skating rink is completely free and a service booth is availible for renting skates. At night, this rink is lit up with lights of different colors and becomes a lot more beautiful.
