I had a picc line last year because I couldn’t get enough nutrients through normal food and g tube feeds. It helped a little at the beginning but then stopped working and I wasn’t gaining the weight I needed so they took it out. I had it for around 4-5 months and had it through summer break.
@@stephifam9400 I've had 3 picc lines now. 2 in my arm and 1 in my chest (placed like a Hickman but they used the line typically placed in the arm for a picc)
I've had pressure in my chest very low Bp slow then fast heart rate and dizzyness but my d diamer level ok and they said Hickman look ok and Doppler of arm and neck was ok but just feel so unwell. My chest also feels painful in the middle but my line is only a week old so still bruised

did you have pressure in your chest from the blood clots
I had clotts from picc lines. Jus had s Hickman line so hoping it be ok
