Great review. I tend to lean towards the adage, if all else fails RTFM, and I don't like, no, I hate reading manuals. This remind me of a Timex Datalink I used to have umpteen years ago, with that iconic eye that "read" your appointments and contacts off your computer screen while wearing the watch. That tech blew me away then. A small price for what is packed into this watch. Amazing! But I'm afraid not my cup of tea. Thanks Ariel for another splendid review.
There is one Grand Seiko watch review I did which you can find by searching the aBlogtoRead channel. On the website you'll find a lot more Grand Seiko watch articles.
It would be interesting to see the previous model EQW-M710DB-1A1 against that model, and see how it performs in comparison, although it appears to have the same movement from the video. The new Smart Access system looks promising, tried it out on the EQW-A1100 and the new GW-A1000RAF-1, and it is so simple with 2 buttons and a crown/button rather than 4 buttons.
This edifice watch looks great although a bit complicated to use i would get it if it was double locking because some watches can come undone with a knock without the double lock.
cant find it anywhere in India... :/ was this like a Limited Edition Watch or something...? hope they launch it in India too... eagerly waiting for this one.. :)
I want to get an Edifice for my dad. He has a couple of nice watches but he can't wear any to work because they'll get scratched or they'll break. Would this be more resistant to damage? I wonder how resistant the face is to scratching.
Will be online in a few weeks. Not there yet.

Glad you like it... now let us never speak of the datalink again, lol.

tell me , which one´s more hi-tech and advanced? this one , or the Officine Panerai Astronomo?
you said there are more advance watches? may i know what are they? would like to see them.
That looks really frustrating to use.
How is the watch holding up? Still wearing it?
1/100th not 1/1000th
Is this scratch proof?
