As a cyclist and motorcycling enthusiast wanted to say thanks on behalf of all the cyclists showed good skill and judgement cool vid great sound too keep up the good work.

Appreciate the comment Alluitz, didn't intend any disrespect or misinformation -simply taking a blunt-edged die hard biker perspective on the ride up.. If it's any consolation, the odds I spoke about weren't over the number of cyclists, but the fact they all lived after RJ's ascent ;) Of course the pass should be enjoyed by all people. Beautiful place in this world.
I love mountain biking....but being THERE and doing road cycling wtf dude lol :D I'll never understand how that boring torture may give one joy... And they're ruining it for motorists.
Sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost my account password. I would love any help you can give me!
@Stephen Brian i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Absolutely stunning scenery I would of been stopping a the time to admire those snow capped mountains and the beautiful trees. Thanks for such a fantastic video.
This road is so beautiful, miles upon miles of tarmac delicately draped over a beautiful mountain with a gorgeous view, everything about it is wonderful.. Everyone's etiquette in sharing the road, the scenary, the walls, even the road looks like it was freshly laid yesterday! It would be a dream come true for me to ride up and back down this road. Italy is a blessed country
Not many people can put a video up nearly 24 mins long and get people to watch it. But you can. with great scenery and Lovely tone to that exhaust. RSM8
11:20 - I felt that urgency there "I better risk getting through before I get stuck behind this for the next ten minutes" *Squeezes through* "Freedom!" *Revs*
it actually been a long time since the last time I sat for 23:46 minutes straight, watching a video and enjoying every second of it! I absolutely love it! it has everything I love - beautiful European nature and motorcycles! great job man!
+Fritz Kühne the mafia is in the south, the north(mostly southtyrol) is a totally different thing than the south, ecen the mentality is a lot more like the german ones then down there...
This guy is GOOD! Great line, smooth, good transitions! Euro mountain bikers are very good on roads like these. I did this pass, from Switzerland to Italy 3 times, but never this good - fell once, but I was 2 up, not solo.
I rode from Belgium to the stelvio. Didnt plan places to sleep, so i arrived in a small village where there was a small camping at the foot of the stelvio, threw my tent at the river, and i could just watch the stelvio in the distance. ate at a local small restaurant, the owner and the cooks talking and laughing, giving limoncello from the house, walked in the dark back along a storming river back to my tent, knowing i was going to climb the stelvio in the morning with my trusty transalp, that feeling!
I've always had more fun when I didn't stick to a strict schedule or pre book rooms. But that's here in the states where theirs always a commercial motel chain within 50-100 miles of most places.
I can't wait to be old enough to begin riding motorcycles. I only have about a year till I get my drivers license. I have a ton of time to think of my dream bike and it comes down to two BMWs, the S1000R and the R1200GS. I'm glad that I'm patient to even start looking at buying motorcycles.
I think I am going to download the audio to this and listen to it on repeat through my Sena while I am riding! What an amazing road! It's great to see it once more after Holliday Rides epic version of it from his trip. I've never seen so many cyclists in one place!
So nice over there, i'm planning to go there this year with my old vfr :) Must be nice for a change for you to ride in the sun ;) Love your London videos as well. Thanks for the beautiful impression and ride safe!
There's also much hate for motorcyclists that drive too fucking slowly, so that's kind of the same thing. Tolerance is one thing but when you travelled hundreds of kilometers to drive that road and it's such a beautiful weather that day and everything's perfect... and then suddenly there are thousands of cyclists blocking the road for motorcyclists to go up faster and with more fun, that's just annoying as hell. So yeah, I tolerate your sport but I still hate you for blocking roads and forcing us to be even more careful and watch out for idiot moves by someone.
First of all, you are talking about expectations: „when you travelled hundreds of kilometers to drive that road and it's such a beautiful weather that day and everything's perfect... and then suddenly there are thousands of cyclists blocking the road for motorcyclists to go up faster and with more fun” -> grow up! Expectations are ok for youngsters dreaming of perfect mates, perfect love, and all those naive things. Second, AngryPawn appears to be a motorcyclist and you answered him with: „I tolerate your sport but I still hate you for blocking roads and forcing us” -> check eyesight! You might be a danger to the other people you share the road with. Furthermore, your attitude shows nothing that could be cataloged as tolerance. Reading books and getting out of your bubble might make you a tad wiser.
I'd guess it's because they think it's okay to ride side by side, 2 or 3 at a time and block the road up for everyone else. On a road which is particularly dangerous given the drops and tight upwards corners. I'm all for cyclists, reducing emissions and such, but not when they do it so annoyingly, to both car and motorcycle users, who, by the way, pay tax to be on that road in the first place.
"As most of us here ride on two wheels as well". It think that sentence makes it quite clear, he's talking from the perspective of a cyclist. I wouldn't consider myself to be naive. Without good expectations one wouldn't even need to drive that far. It's not childish, it's normal and okay. People that avoid having good expectations are also widely known as pessimists. To be tolerant, one must not suddenly love what was criticized before. There're things about cyclist that I criticize and there are things that cyclists criticize about motorcyclists. It's normal, you can't make everyone happy. But I don't see a point in discussing something when any form of critic is immediately considered to be hateful and intolerant - which it clearly isn't. I do not hate cyclist in general but where I live, many are intolerant towards other people on the road. That's not hate, it's fact - everyone says that... even they themselves, though only about other cyclists of course. Not everyone, but many. Cyclists need to receive the same treatment as other vehicles do. Same rules for everyone. Many cyclists behave like kings and queens of the road because they technically are. When it comes to an accident, it doesn't matter whose fault it was... the car driver or motorcyclist will always be guilty. A cyclist wants to ride that street? Fine, but I'd like to do so too. As cyclists are generally pretty thin, overtaking shouldn't be that huge of a problem but still, it somehow is pretty often. How can that be? Because we're too dumb to overtake? Maybe, but I see another reason here. If you can't see that, there's no point in discussing it further.
"I'd guess it's because they think it's okay to ride side by side, 2 or 3 at a time and block the road up for everyone else." I'm sure you could do better. Have another doughnut, you fat fuck.
Absolutely superb, simply stunning.... Funny how the cycling gets slower the further you go up :) Certainly not a cycle route for the faint hearted, but to look out over those views once you're at the top, no matter how you get up there must be simply awesome. Thank you sir, can't wait for the next instalment!
oh man......i got frustrated just from watching that! does every bicycle in the world spawn from stelvio pass or what? GREAT ride mate! that was an awesome trip! a dream come true!
Truly magnificent, thanks for sharing the uncut version. From some previous comments, I am getting the impression, that many people don't know what this is. Passo dello Stelvio / Stilfser Joch, the second highest mountain pass in the Alps. It is epic, it is mythical and every European biker's dream. Which may turn into a nighmare because of frequent gridlock. And the cazy ones are not the cyclists, but the coach driver at 11:11 Just imagine going through those hairpin bends in a coach. Anyway: Thumbs up and happy miles to you!
Wow, that looks so amazing! The view and the road both looks awesome! And the road is so narrow, and you bikes, motorcycles, busses, vans, regular cars, sports cars and old school cars all driving together so close. Damn. Would love to go there one day.
Thank you for uploading this video! This summer I went to Italy and drove this beautyfull road THANKS TO YOU! I hope you will make more of this kind roadtrips I love it!
Just did this pass last month as part of an Alps tour! Very similar to what is depicted here. I was on an RT... Bikes (no bike race though), cars and a bus! Hotter though. Most of the snow has melted this time of year... Unforgettable experience.
it is a great video for sleep. when you lose your eyes you hear the amazing sound of that bmw. when you open your eyes you see the amazing scene and especially if you love bike as i do (i don't even have one but even the idea of a trip like this makes me exited).
The best time to go is in mid to late Sept. People are back to work. That's after summer vacation. Very few bikes peddling and a lot less cars. I rode it twice 2010 & 2012. U spend the night at a Bed & Breakfast lodge. first trip was 1700 miles. Next trip was 1900 miles. Flight from Chicago and lodging was about $7,000. That is the time to go. Do it before u die. If ya ain't got it $, save it up and do it.
I just want to say how beautiful the Stelvio Pass is from the video. How long is the road? It is amazing to see actual buses on the road. How can they take the many hair pin turns? That was a lot of bike riders on the road. Love the first person perspective. Those old time cars are sweet. Nice video you took.
What a beautiful road and scenery. The traffic with the bicycle race was a bit crazy. That car at the end towing 2 motorcycles up the hill. Was he crazy or what.
Can someone make the most of the epic scenery with that background drone and sense of urgency? Bike pass = caos; bike goes = quietness again. The way I would best appreciate the ascent to the Stelvio? Make no mistakes...
Did this road in a car including Bormio Pass a few years ago. Would LOVE to do it on my bike one day. Personally I thought Bormio was a more enjoyable road, but this was more visually spectacular to see from the top down.
A great road, in a beautiful country (but I have to admit, I'm not over the parts... I'm italian), if one day in the future I'll finally buy a motorcycle, this is one of the roads that I want to do more
I had my doubt's on whether I would ever like the BMWs exhaust note, as I love the Nuda. The BMW has really grown on me sound wise, and I'm glad you you're enjoying it. Very good choice.
First vid by popular demand :)

Which are your fear on the road ? ;)
MORE! GIVE ME MORE BRO. I LOVE IT
Are you uploading the downhill video?
hahaha, come on ! you have more of them ! give them to us
***** I watch everyone, fear none.
As a cyclist and motorcycling enthusiast wanted to say thanks on behalf of all the cyclists showed good skill and judgement cool vid great sound too keep up the good work.
I’m not kidding when i want to listen to music I search for this video
So calming and beautiful
well.. this is my dream road and bike so this is one of the best video on youtube for me
I agree :)
Don't stain the carpet.

+1NZD Perfect bike would be a boxer engined BMW or V2 KTM. Everything else, I agree.
+1NZD I wonder if they cyclists ever though "wouldn't it be more fun to go down, rather than up?"....
haha ;) it all balances out :)
I wonder how many of those cyclists said: "Fuck this, i need to buy a motorcycle".
Very nice video and amazing sound!
lol we think that sometimes but many of own both too. it's very rewarding to make it up and keeps you fit. for all to enjoy :)
None!
Specially at min 11:18 passing a bus by the right side in a close turn with cyclist. Very safe.
I own both, and would love to either, or both on the same day, cycling first, of course!
Answer is none.
Beautiful road! Massive respect to those cyclists for climbing that hill. Looks like it just goes up and up and up with no mercy!
+Gary Grant I don't know eng well but hill for Stelvio? Almost 2.800mt on Alps, much more than hill :-)
+Gary Grant yep on the other side is a 20km step road that goes up to the top, better side than this in the video
I love mountain biking....but being THERE and doing road cycling wtf dude lol :D I'll never understand how that boring torture may give one joy...
And they're ruining it for motorists.
We went up the stelvio pass on a driving holiday as kids, the German cyclists are almost kamikaze on their way down it’s brilliant
@@TsvetanVR one of the most ignorant comments i've ever read ... and that from a fellow cyclist
i wouldn't last long climbing that on a bicycle.. good job these people..
as a cyclist i agree
i have tried but didnt reach the top in 2017 a friend of mine did reach it
Sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know a method to log back into an Instagram account??

You have no idea how jealous I am. One day . . .

Yeah some fantastic vision. Loved it.
Thank you for 'taking me along'. I swear I could feel my ears 'pop' a few times because of the altitude change! ;-)
Have ridden the stelvio myself couple of years back, relived through your cam!brilliant...

North Italy.
Where great geography meets polite italians.
Mafia in the alps ???
+Fritz Kühne the mafia is in the south, the north(mostly southtyrol) is a totally different thing than the south, ecen the mentality is a lot more like the german ones then down there...
+Fritz Kühne guess what? I'm living there :P
+Fritz Kühne no i dont want to argue with you, because i know it would be just wasted time...
What?
No I'm not german, I'm italian, and I can recognize bad regions from good regions.
This guy is GOOD! Great line, smooth, good transitions! Euro mountain bikers are very good on roads like these. I did this pass, from Switzerland to Italy 3 times, but never this good - fell once, but I was 2 up, not solo.
i still watch this video every time it pops up, its so good!
What a beautiful part of the world
What a nice video, I'm glad the cyclist shared the road, that akrapovic pops nicely!!

Unbeliveable beautiful. Everything seems perfect.
The handling abilities are good enough for stelvio, but focussing and line have to be better trained for a safe fast stelvio ride...
Sounds absolutely perfect with that akra
That quick shifter and exhaust note with a pop is AWSOME!

Beautiful sights & beautiful sounds. Thanks for uploading RJ!
Very nice sound! And even better its RJ giving us the tour! Thanks
As the biker in the area are saying: drive Stelvio before 8 am or after 4 pm. Best time is September anyway. Less traffic.
That exhaust is ORGASMIC!

Our man..... what can i say? Stuning!!! The traffic made it interesting. Your filtering skills came in handy and made this an EPIC vid.
Cheers
This made me cry i have been to Stelvio Passo (Stelvio Pass) in 2009 and then i saw this. MANNN i want to go again !
The view at the end was just so amazing. You coyld just look at that for ages.
oh man......i got frustrated just from watching that! does every bicycle in the world spawn from stelvio pass or what? GREAT ride mate! that was an awesome trip! a dream come true!

It's great to see a video showing the reality of most of the grand passes in the summer.
Never seen so many hairpin turns in one place ! what a amazing Pass . Great riding !Bike sounds so good
i have forgot to breathe while watching. you came back from paradise.
@RoyalJordanian.Very nice to see you had respect for the other road users
Dynamik-Modus und Schaltautomat ... eine tolle Mischung!
Good God! I have never seen some many obstructions on a road before... Absolutely stunning place, thanks for sharing!
Wow, that looks so amazing! The view and the road both looks awesome! And the road is so narrow, and you bikes, motorcycles, busses, vans, regular cars, sports cars and old school cars all driving together so close. Damn. Would love to go there one day.
Thank you RJ, I will never get to do that ride but that was great.
Great video, we live vicariously through the lens of your camera.
Best video and harddrive💪respect
I offered to double my daughter's pocket money if she'd count the cyclists - she lost interest before you reached the snow line.
Thanks, makes me smile and grin.
Just ce back to the video, the sound of that bike insane, your riding gorgeous. Just love it
Is that your nose I can see? Beautiful place! Beautiful roads, people, bike.
Wow .. that view ... especially at the end
What a ride and what a road. Looks AMAZING on my 42" LED. Thanks for that RJ :-)
it is a great video for sleep. when you lose your eyes you hear the amazing sound of that bmw. when you open your eyes you see the amazing scene and especially if you love bike as i do (i don't even have one but even the idea of a trip like this makes me exited).
This is one of the best youtube video ever. Thank you RJ
Fantastic country side views!
Wow, that was an awesome ride. I felt as if I was right there with you. Thanks for sharing.
Incredible scenery.
that sound is like a symphony !!!
G those mountains!! I am so jelous about your trip RJ!
I just want to say how beautiful the Stelvio Pass is from the video. How long is the road? It is amazing to see actual buses on the road. How can they take the many hair pin turns? That was a lot of bike riders on the road. Love the first person perspective. Those old time cars are sweet. Nice video you took.
magnificent landscape
The bike sounds perfect, live the popping when off gas
really nice ride and what a view. It seems if there is an cycling-event they own the road.
stunning! beautiful scenery RJ, seems like Teuta loves that tight bends !
Passes like this are awesome, more in Spring time, you can see how the vegetation changes when you get higher and there's even snow on top.
What a place, holy shit. Imagine living in one of those houses.
Wow that looks amazing. That just might be a life goal trip for me. Thanks for sharing.
i´m living on the stelvio pass =) im riding it daily =) @ITALY ( im sorry my english is not good )
What a beautiful road and scenery. The traffic with the bicycle race was a bit crazy. That car at the end towing 2 motorcycles up the hill. Was he crazy or what.
It's good to be alive on a day like that! Bravo! Ride safe.
giro meraviglioso - grazie per il passaggio
Can someone make the most of the epic scenery with that background drone and sense of urgency?
Bike pass = caos; bike goes = quietness again.
The way I would best appreciate the ascent to the Stelvio? Make no mistakes...
That's some massive acceleration down low. Living vicariously over here with my RR :)
Did this road in a car including Bormio Pass a few years ago. Would LOVE to do it on my bike one day. Personally I thought Bormio was a more enjoyable road, but this was more visually spectacular to see from the top down.
This is an area of remarkable scenery and a notable roadway. Also, one that does not lend itself to reckless driving.
A great road, in a beautiful country (but I have to admit, I'm not over the parts... I'm italian), if one day in the future I'll finally buy a motorcycle, this is one of the roads that I want to do more
I'd love to cycle up there, it would be awesome!
Wow, this just made the bucket list....maybe even on a push bike
That exhaust though :o
I was willing you to get past that bus, but the cyclists and steep drops off the side. Hats off to you RJ, great riding!
One word >> HEAVEN
Wow.. jost wow. Awesome video and fantastic view. Im like "why did I sell my bike? That could have been me.."
Awesome video and great view RJ! It was very nice to watch :)
Perfect driving video up the stelvio. I am a cyclist and tour videos speed it up.
Thanks ever so much
Thank you, RJ! Now we see dreams during the day.
I had my doubt's on whether I would ever like the BMWs exhaust note, as I love the Nuda. The BMW has really grown on me sound wise, and I'm glad you you're enjoying it. Very good choice.
Oh that sound!!!! I usually dont like the sound of an inline 4 but wow dude wow!!!
I Love that sound!!!
Wow. Thats an amazing road. And your S1000R sounds really nice. Good job!
After seeing this, I now have to book my bike in for installation of a Quick shifter... They sound bliss!
I went to Stelvio on a family trip when it was pretty cold. It was snowing at the top, low visibility. Didn’t stop those cyclists!
