As someone who works with many Trump supporters, they have certain things in common. Almost all are blue collar with no college education. They remember an America where being white and going to work everyday guaranteed you a decent standard of living. They are extremely xenophobic, and most have never traveled outside their home state. They are frightened by a browner more educated America. They can’t compete in the modern workforce. They blame their problems on immigrants and liberals.
