Amy -- I always appreciate your _sunny_ disposition, even in the tough times. Ellie is another good co-pilot, hope to see her on more rides. And well done by Ed; not too shabby.
Hello Amy, WOW a friendship with Ed Clancy... you should ask him to show you the ropes on the velodrome... I am sure you'll be worried but once on the boards you will love it... Thanks for sharing your Mallorca adventure. Take care. Paul,,
What a very strange comment to post. Amy is real and wears her heart on her sleeve. It's refreshing for somebody to actually share how they are really feeling and not to hype it up to look good. I say don't change the way you do things Amy. Your videos wouldn't have the impact they have on others now.
'Better than being at home' Poor old Kyle and Chester....😥 Seriously though, I found it weird doing a ride the day after the 312, however, really enjoyed it but I was also defo not ballsie enough to do Sa Calobra. You made the right call. 👍 Also, love the respect Mallorcan drivers show cyclists.
Bloomin eck ! having spent some time years ago on a lightweight racing bike sometimes before and after work your rides bring back the memory of what it feels like...but I was no where near what you have done ..your smile and positivity is super and I'm sure many people click on your videos to get an uplifting experience You go girl 👍 and Kyle too 😊 keep it up and congrats 👏 From MAINE USA
I have watched all your videos now…well, I’ve listened to them while I work (sew). I’ve never actually seen you hiking and I am on my lunch break watching this one. The part where you powered up that switchback is so fast! I am so much slower. Very impressive, especially after a super long day!
Well done Amy you are an inspiration to many of that I'm sure - I was there a few weeks back in glorious sunshine - have fun! The garage was utterly PACKED by the way LOL
I must say I was pleasantly surprised by your restraint in skipping the longer ride on your "recover" day. But your post lunch regret shows your inner drive (+ madness).
Bikes like Amy's probably use sealed bearings through out, doubt a low powered pressure wash would do much and they're easy enough to change. With her mileage a regular bearing change is necessary anyway.
No is the answer to pressure washing Amy .. it’s ok if you strip your bike every time like the tour team mechanics do .. I only use furniture polish.. works so well ….
@@amy.cycling.adventures never stop being you Amy.😁 I’ve just arrived in Llangollen for a couple days cycling.weather permitting I’m off up the horseshoe pass tomorrow 😬
Have you noticed that you pre-load your rides with negativity? Someone blessed with such athletic ability should be biting at the bit to succeed. But that’s crazy for me to write. I am a million miles away from achieving what you do. So my words may be cheap and envious. But the reasons not to do something at the start could be left until the end…? Great work by the way 👍
I haven't noticed any negativity. The only thing I notice is that she talks a mile a minute and never stops. Has to be exhausting for those around her.
What a bizarre choice you've made. You had plenty of opportunities to stop yourself but still decided to post this. So one has to wonder, is it malicious intent or obtuse thinking on your behalf?
@popsiclestick8405 You phrased it as a question but that does not automatically make it acceptable or not insensitive. I can't imagine many scenarios where such a remark is appropriate. Your past comment history paints you as insensitive at best or a troll at worst. Even more so when you consider that your comments are aimed towards a person who has been very candid in sharing her struggles with an eating disorder. There are lots of accomplishments to celebrate and positivity to gain from these videos. Maybe it's time to shift your focus to that instead.

Great video once again surprised you had any legs left.
Ed Clancy what a legend
57 miles the day after doing almost 200 miles, oh to be young again😂Amazing ride by Ed, what a legend👌
Ellie made me smile, the look in her eyes as she was munching her pain au chocolat.
😂😂bless her she was pulling some faces eh.
I agree, the look on her face was priceless. I was about to make the same comment anyway when I found your comment

Yes he’s great!! He’d defo be the right person to show me! Thanks for watching ☺️

Thanks for sharing CAMS. I was hit by a car a month ago, and this gave me the motivation to chase the driver and CAMS are now on the case!
Ahh so sorry to hear you were hit, I’m sure cams will help you so much like they did for me 🙌
Well done Amy you are an inspiration to many of that I'm sure - I was there a few weeks back in glorious sunshine - have fun! The garage was utterly PACKED by the way LOL
Can't believe Ed Clancy was there too! Great video as per usual.
Well done. Looking forward to more great content.
Take it steady.
Keep up the excellent work. I think your all brilliant. Well done😊😊😊😊
Thanks so much 😊
Amy, you are amazing, riding after that challenging ride. ❤
I must say I was pleasantly surprised by your restraint in skipping the longer ride on your "recover" day. But your post lunch regret shows your inner drive (+ madness).
Hi, from SLO , Nice videos .....looking forward gor more videos...
Ed Clancy is a beast!
I bet you bee glad to get home for a good rest,☺️🐑🐑. Have a good flight back.

Great !! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! 😃
I don't know how you do it but well done you happy cycling

It's good you took a steady day let your body recover
Hi Amy brilliant video always enjoy watching them. Where did you get your cycling rain jacket from please, it looks really cool
Thanks!! It’s from my local bike shop - Velo Bavarian ☺️
I can't believe how fresh you look in both videos. Also, carrot cake always!
Agreed -- carrot cake or zucchini bread over that almond slice, 7 days a week
Eee aww !!
So lucky you didn’t have that weather for the 312, Amy.
Yes exactly! Soo glad we had the good weather that day
Does anyone have an idea what hotel they stayed at?
What is Ellie doing? Very confused look at 06:35 🤣
Getting icing sugar down herself I am pretty sure.
😂😂😂
Yipee
I‘m pretty sure that is the most famous Repsol gas station on earth… at least among cyclists 😎
NEVER jet wash a bike...the water gets in the bearings Guys...
Ed Clancy : the sport nutritionist's nightmare ...!!
A cycling legend 💪🏻 .... plus Ed Clancy 😂
...perfectly cheeky & well said
Ed is the real legend 😅 but thank you! ☺️🫶
After 312km did you not have the Special for supper at the restaurant last night?
"Loin of cod. Baked or fried, served with a Béarnaise sauce."
Came for the cycling adventures, stayed for the cake reviews
Haha glad you enjoyed it! ☺️🙌
Ed clancy is a legend. How did you become friends? Can I join your gang haha
Haha I met him through cams he’s a great guy!
Not really you will wash all the greese out from the wheel bearings and bottom bracket
Wait, grease? 🤔😉
Is that important??
They way you crushed the 312 in your last video let’s me know your next 1000Km ride will be crushed as well.
Bare pipe cleaners !!
It’s even got real bits of carrot in😂😂.surely all carrot cakes have real bits of carrots in them hence the name carrot cake.🤔🤨
😂😂

Well said, well worded, "pre-loading rides with negativity" that's what i kept noticing but didn't know how to word it.
I would have said, apprehension and anxiety!

Good on Ellie for removing helmet at cafe stop, Amy really needs to stop caring about helmet hair.
