Coming from never playing an auto chess game would love to see something like this for Econ, like when it’s good to spend on leveling vs rolling and the bonuses
If you have continued playing, the general terms for this is hyper roll vs econ, the topic is complex, a lot is transferable between games.
In general, it depends a lot on
what are you playing? For example dragons or eggs look more towards econ vs something like ground that can do well on hyper rolling.
What do you like to play? Both options are quite viable in most games and this is not different, but they do require different skill sets and some people enjoy one or the other
The state of the game, really this is the most difficult, when to transition from one to the other. What are other people doing? What is your health? Etc. I feel this comes with practice, and I for one could not hope to explain this on a video. This is easier on eco, which is why it is usually recommended, hit level 7 and then start rolling while you have easy upgrades (so a 2 pair, etc), once everythig is 2 starts, maybe level up. hyper rolling is a lot more complex because the transition depends on luck and what other people are playing.
The key thing is that if you are econ you wanna loose, if you are hyperrroling you wanna win. The second you stop your streak you wanna swap (or ideally a bit earlier for hyper roll)

I've been making my frontline just, well, that, a line. Separating them is a great idea, I've been putting "assassins" (low def but high dmg melee) on the 2nd row to one side, but depending on how wide the enemy frontline is they often end up getting attacked too. So will absolutely have to try this!

thanks for making this, I’m new and trying to figure out positioning. if you take guide requests, could I ask if you have any advice on managing economy? I’m never sure when to roll/spend for exp. Or maybe on something like when to pivot?
