You are such a joy to watch! The news and everything in it is depressing and violent. Your world is normal and beautiful. Keep it up, the world needs you to help us heal.
I couldn't have said it better......our working world is so hard, my body aches after shifts at the hospital.....but watching them show us the country keeps me daydreaming about our retirement in 5 years.... Thank you for all the work you do for us...we LOVE your videos, and Daisy, well, she make my husband and I smile and laugh every time we see her. Hugs to you both, and Daisy too from your CT subscribers.
Guys, I could pick any of your videos and write this... It doesn't matter! Chad, you are brilliant at discovering and disclosing every little detail related to continued RV-living technical aspects, including ways to get around problems. We are looking to do what the two of you do, in two years or so, and you have already saved us from a multitude of beginner's mistakes and embarrassments! But, there are a lot of techy savy people out there! Bringing the message across is an entirely different matter, and Tara is the absolute masteress! Family vacation videos have a tendency to put everybody else asleep, but your videos are super cool, more, please :-)
My family owned the ship wreck museum before Mel Fisher bought them out. The movie you watch in the basement is of my family. The treasure hunting boat in the movie is named after my great aunt Hazel. My mother is a 6th generation conch.
I know im asking randomly but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my password. I love any help you can give me!
@Robert Sincere i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Looks like you had a very nice time in the Keys. Looks like it was also very nice weather until it rained. The food looked really good. Loved the lighthouse. Lighthouses are nice. Glad you had fun there. The outtakes were funny. Thank you for this great video and see you next time. Sherri Weber
Thanks for sharing your time in the Keys. We will be spending our first winter as snowbirds in Florida. Hopefully no hurricanes or tornadoes between November when we get there and March when we leave. Stay safe.
Enjoyed the scenery especially the ocean/gulf beaches. It was noteworthy that we were still in the pre covid-19 times. I hope those times return sooner rather than later. Thanks for the video.
Hi, we are the « followers » from Canada who were at Fiesta Key Resort. Thanks a lot for this fabulous movie with full memories. Thanks you so much ! 👍
@@paulsuprono7225 No, I did not. Her dad was in the Marine Corps and stationed in Key West when there use to be a Marine Barracks there. Met her in Virginia when he was stationed at Quantico. She is a great "guide" when you go down to Key West for some of the less known places.
I subscribe to several RV blogs, and I must say that y’all’s is by far the best. The work that each of you put into each video is evident. Each video is highly informative, entertaining, and just plain classy. I just finished watching the FAQ videos, and I must say that I was shocked, but not surprised, by some of the comments that people have made to you. I am a big fan of your blog, and I appreciate the effort you both put into it and hope y’all are able to continue for many more years. And, as an old military veteran, I say to Chad, Thanks For Your Service.
We love The Keys. Key West has always been fun although it's changed a lot We love riding scooters every where when we are there. Diggin' the hats Tara...looking fly. Lou & Angie
Lot of favorite places to eat. Harpoon Harry's and pepes for breakfast, geiger key marina and mangrove mamas for lunch. Roostica and smokin tuna for dinner. Schooner wharf to drink.
Another great video! I actually stayed at Fiesta Key in July after you were there. A little warm, but had a great time! Covid was in full force so we didn't go to any restaurants but did feed tarpon at Robbie's and went to Anne's. We actually caught snapper at the resort and grilled those one night.
Another great place in Marathon with a great view of boot harbor with like a hundred sail boats lines up is Burdines Waterfrony.....Great burgers and fries.......
Thanks for sharing. Last winter we didn't make it to the Keys. We have been going to Fiesta Key since 1994 and have seen a lot of changes. We don't care for TT so much but it could be worse. You hit all of our favorite places. Safe travels stay healthy.
Your channel is furthering my inspiration to do this. I have been looking at the Momentum and Cyclone, but leaning Momentum. Happy that y'all are doing this and sharing with us here.
You two have too much fun. Even with the storms that you went thru you guys still had a very good time. Only thing, boy you guys eat out a lot. I would like to know how your not 600 lbs by now. Your eating every 5 minutes on the video LOL Great video. really enjoyed it
If you guys were in Key West the last week in Jan, we were there also! That rain storm was intense and insane. We were there for a music festival and got back to our condo (on Angela St and Duval St) just in time to sit on the front porch to watch the water rise on the street! Those scooters and golf carts were no match for the newly formed lake on Angela St!
Definitely be sure to include Truman's Little White House on your next visit......... this will be our 21st year coming to Key West and we've done it 3 times!! (1st year and a coupla more times when friends from home have joined us!) Enjoyed it each time and probably learned something new each time!😉 BTW we sure enjoy watching your adventures, especially Key West!😎
Hope you guys are staying safe and healthy! We live on Miami Beach and take our Spyders to Key West often. Next time...check out Frenchie's French Bakery very close to the 0 mile marker (same street). They are from and trained in France. Their croissants, pastries and sandwhiches are great! We have been to Paris twice and this place is better than anything we had in France!
Thank you for this video it brought back so many great memories! We were fortunate to get to spend 2 winters just down the road from Fiesta Key at Outdoor Resorts. We spent many evenings at the restaurant there at Fiesta Key making memories with new friends. Also saw where you went to many of the places we visited while there.
LMAO! We may just look at it from the ground. No, we're doing it! Yep! That's pretty much how decisions are made between my wife and I as well. Y'all rock! Thanks so much for sharing! Your videos are always informative and entertaining. Safe travels!
Great video guys. Once again, you have stayed in about the same site and at the same place (Fiesta Key) that we stay at...only about a year apart 🙂. We enjoyed our trip there too. The Tarpons are indeed aggressive but...what fun. Of course. Mallory Sq. was a must see. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome to the Keys! Great place to vacation but super inconvenient place to live. We lived on Cudjoe Key for 3 years in the mid-1990’s. Nice video. I sold real estate which as you can tell from the exorbitant property prices was very lucrative. Mel Fisher and my cousin were friends.
We went to the florida keys in the midle of July. Boy it was hot but we had a ton of fun. If your ever there and need repairs to your tow vehicle, which i did, look up Wheaton's Service Center & Towing. They were so much help and got us back on the road in only a few hours.
Great video! Loved the "hat hair" LOL. Also, just wanted to say I really like how you broke it all down in the description. I usually skip past it all on the way to comment, but this time I read it! Great job! Safe travels!
My backyard growing up....Sailed these waters and fished and played....And the Floridians don't mind hat heads Tara...So...That said You can visit anytime you like hat heads and all...Chad Next time bring the GoPro LOL !!! The look down will be better for you ... Good stuff as usual.... Be Safe...
We were looking at going to Florida with our RV, but with cases spiking we're afraid to book anything like that. Guess it's just small close trips for us this year. So glad you guys got to do this before things got nuts.
Agreed... worth waiting until things get under control. We're definitely sitting this year out. It's NOT worth the risk. That's just a nasty way to die.
So jealous! We rode our harleys to key west one year from timeshare in Orlando. That sun will beat you up riding over the water. But it was breathe taking. Thanks for sharing. Totally need to take our travel trailer there for a week or more in the winter. ✌-out
So cool! I liked the Salute place and the light house. Robbies looks nice too except I don't know about being that close to pelicans. Florida Brewing Company looks nice too. Overall looks like a nice place to winter maybe? Thanks for sharing. I may never get to go and it lets me see what life is like there. Take Care.
I bought a $2 shirt on clearance at West Marine and was stopped at a gas station about 100 miles from the ocean in South Carolina, when a guy walked up and said he'd like to set up a charter. I didn't know what he was talking about, but he got mad that I would wear a shirt like that and not run a boat charter. It was a cool shirt, but it was just a picture of a boat.
I was born and raised in central Florida (Cocoa Beach area). I have never explored the FL Keys, but I will be adding it to my list of things to do :). I love FL afternoon thunderstorms and miss them...they are relaxing. I know it will be a totally different experience (I have experienced storms in the middle east while living in a tent...even hail in Kuwait). Loved this one!! I am pretty sure I stayed at Siesta Key as a kid as I immediately had flash backs to the marina & pool - so cool. Last visit to KW was 2018, ate at the Blue Heaven (I see why you like it there) before a concert at the new Band shell a few blocks down. Thank you for taking us along, looking forward to more!

Beautiful 😍 place! My son and his girlfriend and her family went down there last Aug or end of July!! Had a fun but did not share or tell much of their trip with us. Looks like a place to go!! Must do in the winter so we get away from the snow in Ohio 😂 and be less busy in Florida hopefully!
I also love the lighthouse in St Augustine too!!! I miss the Gas Monkey Garage Restaurant in Key West, but you need stop at Craig’s Restaurant in the Northern Keys and get the Dolphin Florentine, Amazing!!!...
We enjoy Thousand Trails. Restrictions are not difficult to deal with. We've probably saved twice our purchase cost in 5 years. Generally have no trouble getting reservations. Plan ahead of course.
Kings Seafood on Marathon is authentic fish market with very fresh seafood. Rustic but reasonably priced, perfect atmosphere for an old school fish market / restaurant
I just left Sunshine Key Saturday after two full weeks. It was my 2nd Thousand Trails stay & so glad to have saved the money. I am not 100% on Sunshine Key RV resort, very compact, expected in the Keys, very loud with quiet times ignored. Many rules ignored like # of site vehicles and guests. Bath houses were locked at night because of vandalism. I would have been upset if paying full price, I kept reminding myself I only paid $20 per night. Okay with my stay, but 1 only time there.
I have been to Key West many times and here is a list of my favorite eats: Pepe's Cafe; Schooner Wharf; Blue Haven; Caroline's Cafe; Louie's Backyard; Half Shell; Key West Bait & Tackle; The Sunset Tiki Bar and Grille;
Great vLog guys. We love Key West just as much as y'all. We learned at the Mel Fischer Museum that you can actually book a dive with them to go out on a salvage trip to the wreck of the Atocha that they are permanently moored off of and go look for more treasure with them. They say you can keep things like a silver coin etc. something small of little value and you get to have your name in the registry of things found. But........if it's something substantial they obviously keep it but you get the credit for the find in the museum. Glad you shared your experience there with us. We like First Flight Island Restaurant and Brewery, Turtle Kral's, Meson de Pepe, and Pepe's Cafe. Then on Stock Island the Hog Fish Bar and Grill is not to be missed. We still have to try Blue Heaven! We gotta get you both in scuba gear with us if we can ever catch a meet up when Covid is clear.
Hey, Chad I think it would have been fun to take one of those roosters to the top of the light house and kinda nudge it out the window to see if it could fly or watch it try to walk on air lol. j/k

Great music and editing on this one (as in all of them). Great work.

You Both are Terrific People ( Much Respect ✊)
Love the keys, look forward to your next destination!
nice scenery and i'm not talking about Florida. love the blue eye's .. like the video too.
Daisy in that blanket was looking at the camera thinking " that's right, it's 3:30am and they went batshit crazy on me" LOL
Nice segment, you two. THe Keys and Florida look like a good place to spend some time in the winter months. Happy travels!
