Azadgunj Locality of Baramulla in North Kashmir has no Drainage System, Locals Suffer

Azadgunj locality in north Kashmir's Baramulla district lacks a proper drainage system. A mild rainfall turns the lanes of this locality into the stretches of muck and mud making it difficult to even walk. With the onset of winter treading these lanes becomes a daunting task as the path not only makes the clothes dirty but also becomes slippery, which could lead to any fatal injury. Despite repeated pleas to the concerned officials, the appeals of these hapless people have always fallen on deaf ears.
