from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada....the truck build has given me great enthusiasm to continue with my build projects....sometimes we need a kick in the butt from somewhere to keep up the energy level..... hartelijk dank mijne heren..:)...as for the logging truck...nice work....one little thing...get rid of the screwdriver ignition key...its hokey.....I am in awe of your ability to work through problems by developing creative solutions....Lets have some videos on the installation of the overhead shop crane please.....
Fantastic! getting all the hydraulic fittings proper, fluid leakage, solenoid connections, limiters on fluid speed, these are not easy things to get right, great job! What a change, real off road tires, new seats and equipment on your project, very cool!

i'd say that you need to restrict the flow of hydraulic fluid from the pump to slow down the movement of the crane. it will be difficult to control, and not as useful as it is.
milo is one of those people who becomes terrifying when they're holding a chainsaw.

You should install some stabilizing jacks on it, you already have the hydraulics fitted.
They've thought about it but because of the weight they don't do it. now they can take the extra weight of tree trunks with them

Leuk projectje. Zou wel eens investeren in een cursus verantwoordelijk kettingzagen gebruiken. Geen enkele keer de kettingrem gebruikt en verschillende keren op een bedenkelijke manier zien zagen!

i see one big problem- the clutch and the gears are not made with those big tires and the kind of heavey weight of the loaded vehicle in mind

@@WheresTheFun I have driven with one - its kinda undermotorized when really loaded up with a trailer and has a bouncy suspension if empty... also driving steep uphill was terrifying and terrible - clutch slipping after releasing clutch pedal - slow clutch reaction time and low power for the ~4 tonns of weight it dragged with trailer and own load
What kind of background do they come from?
Are you using the truck + crane on your property or on public land? Here in Italy if you're in your private property you don't need licence or inspections like that
It is private property, but since building stuff is their job where they make money from they are a company and there are strict rules for working to ensurse a save and healthy work environment, so they have a bit of responsibility. That said, I don't think it was necessary to have a inspection, but it was more for the show, since certification is part of the proces of bodywork construction and the nationaal bodywork construction association was their customer/client of this project. In fact, the vehicle/crane was not approved for a certification, but the inspector said that he is sure that they will be able to use is safely.

Als Dirk nu een boomstam op ze voet laat vallen, zijn ze niet verzekerd. Dus ziektekosten, behoud van loon tijdens ziekte etc. Word dan niet uitgekeerd door de verzekering. Heb je een keurmerk dan ben je wel verzekerd
