We have a little thing that lasts six months called "winter", and electric or hybrid vehicles don't function at -30 Celsius and below. I mean, Harley gave their electric motorcycle have speakers to produce a noise. Idk if it revs up with throttle but they and other manufacture could do that. Motorcycles definitely need to cause noise for safety reasons.

Driven a model 3 around edmonton in the middle of winter, range was a bit worse but it wasn't some detrimental change.
