I work in a winery so I really appreciate this episode. You would be surprised how similar some of the things you did were to a regular winery. Very impressed, Nate. Well done everyone. 🍷
There is absolutely no better way to experience the world, than to work side by side learning about life and culture just like this! Such an awesome memory to cherish 🍇🍷
How could anyone be sick of you and your adventures! I'm in north-east England, had to defrost my car at 4-45am to get to work and it's been about -2 all day! Your video warmed me up! Learned many new things too!
I was wondering if you would do a vlog on Bob and Ginas story. What the house looks like before, the building, how they ended up living on Italy and becoming wine growers. 😍
Boy, can I relate? After pressing our crop by hand we purchased our first press. What a time saver. My wife and I had just as much fun making our wine as these folks seem to be having. The family that makes wine together, stays together?
I can't exactly remember how I found you guys but what a fantastic channel you both have. Wonderful. Just watched Kara's cooking skills and pasta making, excellent work. Shout out from the UK
My dad made his first homemade wine out of locally-picked blackberries. I had a taste of it before it was completely finished (he said), but it was DELISH! It must have had a bit of sugar still left, because it was more 'sweet' than wine should be, but I don't care, it was amazing. Even my husband was able to drink it without getting a headache that normal wine sulfites give him.
Bob, I wanted to say you and Gina are the most amazing, gracious hosts. Your home is beautiful. I love, love getting to see your home and village. Thank you for allowing Kara and Nate to share in your life. ❤
What an awesome experience....brought me back to days w my exes family when we harvested apples for apple wine in Germany! Bob and Gina are so cool, want to meet them some day! Will have to bring my wife and kids there......😎👍
Once again, that looks like so much fun! Maybe some day I'll get to try some of Bob and Gina's wine... I wonder if they marked the ones Nate and Kara helped out on, haha! Special reserve ;-D
Once I was cleaning out my closet from high school and found a backpack around 6 years old and opened it and smelled something that really smelled like wine. I opened a bag and found a plastic bag full of grapes which was wine now! That was my lunch 6 years ago!
My nonno would be so mad on not pressing the grapes more haha. He wouldnt waste a drop of liquid in those grapes and no additives. Natural yeast from the air and no sulfites. Been making it the same way in my family for 1000s of years
Great video, quite informative. We love Le Marche, great wines for reasonable prices. The landscape is also gorgeous! We shoot short videos ourselves about cool climate wineries in Belgium and Holland (and also craft breweries and distilleries) Might give you some ideas in case you're planning to visit Holland ;) Cheers!
Title says "The Whole Process". Video starts of with pressing the already fermented grapes. Wine nerd me wants to know about crush and de-stemming, cold stabilization, yeast and yeast nutrient used, punch downs or pour overs. What's left to do but age and bottle?
Hope Kara's feeling better🤧Beautiful vlog to watch as always. Music great - esp Andrew Applepie (this track is great, but not for sale ... yet ... on itunes 😪) PS Bob and Gina are great!
I can't help but wonder why their production method is what it is. For most types of wine (and cider) once fermentation is complete, you try everything to avoid adding additional oxygen into the product, but this seems to be the opposite. O2 addition is what causes acetification (vinegar). From what I've seen from my winemaker friends is the fruit is de-stemmed, and then crushed, allowed to rest for one to two days and then pressed. The resulting must is then fermented and then stored as per the winemakers desires. I know it might seem like a minor difference, but from a professional aspect, its poles apart. Anyway, good luck to them!
Good day to you friend my sincere support from me please stay connected tq. Wow amazing thanks for showing how theyprocess wine first time seeing the views are beautiful thanks for sharing friend I really appreciate. All the best to you stay safe God bless ❤️
Hey, did you leave Juventus?.... Do Italians not have any other job than making wine ?. Well, really mouthwatering. This press is good for taking juice from cashew apple. Are they making it for personal use or for trading ?
Hi guys. Iam obsessed with your travel and even my 10yr old daughter every night we take time to watch your videos like if it was a show.😁 many blessings.... Italy is a place we have in our list to travel I wanted to ask. Those Bob and Gina. Allow or rent rooms for tourist or it was just friends ? Is a fantastic place with amazing views and I will love to stay in a place like that with people with knowledge and of course because of the language as well.
Hello Nate & Kara, thank you for all of your videos, I watched them all, I am planning to purchase property in Italy (preferably in a small village), I need some guidance, is there any way to connect me with Bob and Gina? Thank you.

Nate did a good job when Kara was feeling sick. Get well soon Kara.
Traditional wine taste much better cause its 80% grapes 20% hands
We need an update trip to Bob and Gina's asap...perfect time to try that wine 4 years later, right? 😉

Nate did a great job! That was very informative 👌🏼
You exactly didn't show the quantity and stuff. But f*** that you having fun felt good to me and motivated me . . . Thank you and ♥️ from 🇮🇳
If you pressed it longer (presence of oxygen), Acetobacter would turn alcohol into vinegar.
Oh very interesting looks like great fun wouldn't mind doing this ourselves that press is very effective stay safe hope you feel better Kara
This is amazing! I love Italy and learning about (and sipping) some wine. This life we live, right?? :))
for how many days did the grapes stayed in the must with the seeds and skin? and did you kept the must open for oxygen? or it should be closed?
Once again, that looks like so much fun! Maybe some day I'll get to try some of Bob and Gina's wine... I wonder if they marked the ones Nate and Kara helped out on, haha! Special reserve ;-D

You guys should definitely come to Serbia. It’s not that expensive and it’s a great country to visit. ❤️
What a fabulous experience! Love this vlog!
Looking at your hands, it’s almost like you ‘killed’ the grapes. 😂
Dutch Nomad Couple lol
Very cool. I’ve made wine and beer. Great hobby. They make just a little more than I do, and much nicer surroundings too.
Not a drinker, but still interesting to see how it’s all made
BEARDED TRAVELLER yeah me too

They've been successful , so whatever process they use works for them.
I wonder what is that powder that you added in your grape juice?

Awesome "morning of wine" I had watching you guys today! Always a nice job you did!
Will you please say the camical name which you added at last thewhite powederthing to stop the badbug to further convert it to vinegar
This batch of wine is almost ready if it matures for only 3-4 years.
Could have added a another mesh inside the press. There’s no need to manually press by hand.
Hey, did you leave Juventus?....
