I agree Jack. My grandmother never missed an episode. I sat her VCR's timer to record the shows if she wasn't home or couldn't sit down to watch when they were on.
I missed this Lady Tammy Baker she brought love 💞 to everybody she and when got sick she still love 💞 everybody and I still love 💞 today may she rest in peace I love 💞you Tammy Miss Joy from Houston Texas 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
I can see why so many people gave so much money to this ministry, Jim and Tammy are so credible , inspirational and good at hiding the truth that was really happening behind the scenes.
Everyone was neat and clean and well dressed oh I forgot it was the 80"s. One beautiful decade glad I lived thur to witness it Tammy was a special lady.
Too many building projects going on at the same time. It just became park focused. They should of just charged admission to get in and stopped the on air donation thing and made it for profit. It basically was a theme park minus rides.
Kevin died in 1992. The house was supposed to house disabled children and adults. However, the only people who ever lived there were Kevin and his sister (until 1989, when the house was taken over by Falwell after the financial collapse of PTL). Kevin was actually Jim Bakker's cousin. They raised $3 million to build the house, but only $1 million was used on actual construction.
It was a great idea. All the many good things they were doing. If only Jim and Tammy hadn't been so greedy. Had they had humility and integrity, they would have done so much good. But they, as so many greedy ministers, let the devil take them in.
I'm sure the premise was that you wouldn't be in your room long. You'd be spending time at the park and the workshops and such that you'll only be in your room to sleep or change clothes
28 minutes in this video he talks about the media. Also 44 minutes in. Absorb what he said years ago. Isn't it funny what is happening in the media today. This was the best ministry in the world and it was destroyed. It's even worse now how they have no respect for the best President we ever had. I say.... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! God be with us in these days we are living in.
@@patrick764 Jim Bakker was sentenced to 40 years in prison for overbooking a hotel. Tell me exactly, where the fraud is? All of Heritage USA was constructed with zero financing. Donations was poured right back into the Christian community, and it was flourishing. Do you really think it was justified to sentence a man to 40 years for booking hotels that were currently under construction?

I love the PTL club when it came on in the early 80's and I love to here Tammy sing she was a great singer.

You must have every episode lol

Yes, Daddy! We will never get the 80's back. What a great time to live.
Yeah, these kids today with their hair, and their clothes, and their music...
It seemed like if you didn't renew your membership you were getting repermended.
Roe Messner and Jim Bakker: They had a LOT in common.
What a classic Snakeoil Salesman. Classic Huckster!!
Jim said he didn't want to go to jail. Ironic
Phone lines are jammed. Jessica was calling a lot
😂😂😂
So glad I didn't call 😂
This show at this stage was already sad, it was only about pushing donations. PTL lost its Magic.
Yes, Jess! The last few years Jim spent most of his airtime wanting donations instead of telling people about Jesus.

@@JillKirchner yes Heritage usa was a wonderful thing!wish I could have gone there, and it could have continued to today
Those rooms are tiny!! They were pretty for the times, but fill them with luggage and people and you’d be knocking into one another all squished.

Both Tammy's husband's together
When I see them and he’s talking she looks like she’s a prisoner and wants to go.
Where is the gospel? Just seems about money! Greed!
