Hey guys, Just wanted to continue the back to basics series, with the much requested Territory Standing Guide. I do hope this one helps some of you newer and returning players break some old habits, and get off on fresh start on the right foot! Sorry about the re upload, Had to fix a mistake, uploaded the wrong edit.
Great video! My wife and I seem to have done the right thing. But we have missed out on the extra items in our houses as we have been far too worried about housing taxes and other things. I feel it is mostly because of the high taxes from back in the day, thankfully it is better now. The one thing I wish for would be that you can see what you have (%) in each location. In the case I want to sell something I would now have to jump around and find the location with the lowest tax, mostly a bit annoying but it would be nice to see the % for each thing so I can plan. But I guess in time it will even out :) Thank you for the video and have a nice day!
They've toyed with the standing cards a couple times in the past. Specifically the Harvesting and Faction cards. At one point, I was giving some weight to the Faction cards but I recall it being changed. They gave a bonus to tokens originally but people complained early on that tokens were useless once they got their gear so then they made it reward bonus territory influence for pushing a territory. Shortly after that they nerfed that card to give bonus faction reputation. The card is still titled "Faction Tokens" but the tooltip also states that it gives a bonus to Faction reputation. I'm not sure what the card provides anymore w/o testing.
Should i go for storage, house items, and standing gain straight from the get go if i decide to buy tier 1 home from map i spawned as lvl 1? If i might swap spots later on for my tier 1 house, buying better tíer homes elsewhere?
ya because honestly there are caps , and you will want certain things when moving around, but if its a zone you know you likely will never have a home in, focus more on faction and gather etc
I see some other guides mentioning the INT harvesting bonus and proficiency potions/music for yield etc for gathering reeds. However, those buffs all specify when "using a tool to harvest" and I notice that no tool pops up when you gather bulrush. This would mean none of those bonuses, consumables, or song buffs apply to farming reeds, correct? I would appreciate some clarification if you happen to know for sure, because I don't want to invest all these resources and/or respec when I go to farm these if they don't actually do anything.
@@5HeadSurvivalGaming Been doing some in brimstone and getting more than that. It might be showing the amount with faction standing bonus, and I'm pretty sure the faction buff works as well. Also the ones you craft give extra for the crafting. With limited resources at low levels I think its a good option to hit a few that are the easy ones to get that extra bonus. Fresh start I don't think anyone will have tons of mats/gold to just throw at making tons of food. It's all about options right?
hey man, i always appreciated your videos cuz they're honest, i took a long break from the game , now i heard there'll be a new fresh start servers, in your honest opinion do you think the game is worth a second shot ? much appreciated

storage, station / trading tax , standing gain boost only the best :S

Ya reeds, bushes anything like that nothing applies, thats why it also doesnt give harvesting xp
at 5:22 when you showed the priority cards... do i need to have every territory set up like that?
Ty!
how do i know where i want my houses? is everywhere the exact same?
Hey! a bit random, but any tips on picking some weapon combos for fresh start? Gonna be mostly solo pve with maybe a sprinkle of pvp!
I would go hatchet + greatsword for pve on fresh start, almost unkillable
Is this still relevant in season 3 and 4?
Why is standing gain cards so good? Dont they also become obsolete in lategame? Or is it impossible to max standing anyways?
Standing cards are good early but you are right, however 300 standing is a tough one to hit
I did not wanted a House anyway gonna be a drifter and it gave me as my first and only choice House Ownership. -.-
why housing items? portals give good faction as well as town boards.
Town boards giving 500 per mission but nothing else now since nerfed into the ground make them meh, if you like them sure

@@5HeadSurvivalGaming ptr -> townboards 40% more territory exp

Absolutely, the new stuff is amazing, and no sub, so your free to dip again after playing through the new stuff :)
@@5HeadSurvivalGaming much respect for the answer , i shall give it a shot again. btw always loved the gold making vids they helped a lot :)
Hi, why 1 card for xp?
no diminishing returns, so you don't sacrifice anything for the bonus 3%
I heard that the xp card helps with aptitude xp - I have no idea so if anyone has thoughts .....
That would be interesting, do you have any source to this?
