The autism spectrum is massive, people have wildly varying symptoms and each case is unique. Some are just socially awkward while able to live normally otherwise. Others need 24/7 assistance and are unable to walk or talk. Others have memory/attention span issues. Trying to use anecdotal evidence as sweeping proof for the effects of autism is inaccurate
