- Great improvement on products to stop birds from hitting windows and dying, here we talk about the products, installation and various influences. Time of year, angle of the sun and tree leaf cover has a big influence. If you work in an office building, start a group to get them installed or to have the lights turned off at night! 😊👍
Very helpful. I’ve often wondered why architects continue to build the mirrored towers they are deadly. Surely by now they’ve noticed the bodies at the base!
Normal windows reflect too
Weed stop fabric is a good alternative to a plastic bag in that it can be seen through from the inside but opaque from the outside, also makes a good privacy screen in a pinch
Awesome, great idea, thank you , 👌👌👌
I did this with a black marker but they keep running into the windows is it cuz they can't see black or do I need to use the white pen?
The feather friendly product works very to take the reflection in the glass away, you can order it from our website. Not certain what you are using, markets will not break the reflection , thanks, Bob
We tried everything and it didn't work, all the suggestions on the
internet did not work, the magpies still attacked our windows. Until
someone told us what to do. Buy rubber snakes from the reject shop and
leave them on the concrete ground under the windows or put on the
windowsill. They are $2.50 each. We bought 6 of them, all different and
that was the end of the magpies, they do not even graze in our backyard,
they come nowhere the house
Very cool
Thank you! That's exactly what I am going to do!
@gilligallou birds I work in a office building in the city. I see hummingbirds banging the windows kill themselves and land in the parking lot. My office building has no flowers with in couple miles. 1. Why would a humming bird fly to the city with no flowers?
They see reflection in the windows and feel they can fly through, there is often volunteers groups that you can get involved to pick up the bird to used as data collection, what city are you in?
@@gilligallou atlanta , buckhead ga by lenox mall salesforce tower. Literally no plants near by and i saw a couple not one dead on the parking lot. Makes me sad and confused
@@ramblr5900 search for bird conservation group in your area, the more data collected the better, so we can get protection built into windows
@@gilligallou you have any idea why a Humming bird will fly into the city? wouldnt they be attracted to smell of flowers or pollen trail like a bee?
@@ramblr5900 I found this group, they will have information, www.gos.org
Habla mucho.
