Love that pause toward the end seemed like it was over then resumes classic Tool. Everything and everyone goes back to their roots. This album made tool my favorite band back in the 90's. Sober was on the radio. So i bought undertow. If you let the cd play there are hidden songs and other noses at the end. It goes all the way to 99 songs to it's interesting it just keeps going.
Beautiful❤ they played swamp song for us in philly 1st leg of FI tour. Nice to see oldies mixed in. The setlist for aftershock was so good. Song after song
Undertow songs still sound the best with Pauls Rickenbacker. I cant unhear his tone with these songs. Justin is amazing but undertow songs always felt underwhelming to me since Justin (especially Sober)
I went and watched them last night and it was a great show as always but they didn't play anything off opiate or undertow and i was really disappointed about it
The 3 headliners. Gnr plays 29 songs. All their classics. AC/DC. 24 songs. All their classics. Tool 12 songs? Only ? And didn’t play so many of their best songs. Wtf
Adam said that they "might dig a couple oldies out", awesome selection.
Add Bottom, 3rd Eye and H. and I'll swim across the ocean to experience it.
they opened with 3rd eye in Loveland, CO 3 nights earlier. H will more than likely never ever be played again
I wasn't there, but as far as I know they haven't played Third Eye since 2017...
Why do you think H won't be played anynmore?
@@AhYesIndeedItsFunTime
@@WorldWideAperturethat song is a little beyond Maynard’s capabilities at age 60
@@stevegoodwin1220 you might be right... hearing him preforming Pushit or Grudge last year made hopeful for something like H or Eulogy
They did 46 & 2 and The Grudge, just magnificent!
Swamp Song is SUCH a fuckin classic. Love it. So glad to see them still busting it out. Thanks for recording/sharing this.
100%! One of my favorites!!!
I’m seeing them tomorrow and I’m going to explode if they play this. Such a great track.
The long pause and “MY WARNING” so dope and spot on from Maynard.
Love that pause, so dope
Head bangin guy GETS IT! Great song.
That's exactly the moment I was waiting for 🙏🤘
The lyric is "I won't admit nothing" not "My Warning"
But yeah they took a couple extra beats before coming back in
pretty cool
@@kanrox4233dude thank you for that insight. 🙏
Maynard's voice is as powerful as ever.
False. But it is great.
Not quite 2002, but better than 2007!
holy shit! they are bringing old stuff back!
My jaw was down the entire time. All I could think of was “Wait…they’re playing fucking SWAMP SONG!”
maynard sounds like young maynard, the bite of the delivery has reimproved
Shit, 1998 Maynard showed up on this one. Sounds so good. See you Thursday boys!
Lol phone cameras are getting ridiculously good
Fuck yeah!!! My fav undertow jam
this + Bottom
WOW OUTFREAKINSTANDING”!!!!!!
F yeah! Are you serious?! Wow 🤩🔥🔥🔥🤘
I was there with my daughter on Adam's side. This was my third time seeing Tool and my daughters second time seeing them. This was a brilliant show.
I hope they play this tonight! UPDATE: THEY PLAYED IT!
What an incredible set list last night. Wow!
Reminiscent of TOOL from the late 90's / early 2000's. 🤘
This is Tool NOW 🔥
This song is off Undertow so yeah it's from the 90's
It's from undertow the early nineties
My favorite song of all time.
I haven’t seen TOOL since 2006, and the last two times I saw them, they didn’t play anything before Ænima. Cool seeing them dust off this gem.
Great recording sounds amazing. Maynard knocked it out of the park.
Oh fuck yes, this song kicks ass. Thanks for uploading 🤘

30 years later and still sounds amazing
Yeahhh thanks for sharing man!

Wow!🌀🔧🌀🔧🌀
My favorite Tool song, incredible
I couldn’t fucking imagine seeing this live
I was so surprised when they brought out swamp song. Was such a stacked set list I was glad to attend
Ok..Maynard sounds freaking on point 😮😮 I hope they play this at the Charlotte NC show in January
After all these years ❤
They still deliver
Thanks for posting! It was a great show! Loved the setlist! 😊
I would love an entire LATERALUS show….
Same here. They did play The Grudge tonight too
Saw that tour in 2001. Incredible.
I was there too!! Thanks for the video !! I couldn’t even move my arms in the pit hahha
Tighter than whatever is so tight that you cannot pry it open…ever!!!
Beautiful!! From Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Classic!!!
Nice surprise. Classic, they sound amazing. Big surprise, I know.😜
Hope they're still playing this in January!
Even the security crew vibing Swamp Song!
the grit in his voice
Nice!!!! 👍👍
I hope to god they do H
Me too. They haven't played it in 20 years and they also haven't played Knoxville in 20 years...I'm holding out hope that we get treated to it.
He nailed that scream
Swine before pearls...
Woooow I missed this and I thought I was lucky to see “push it” live twice. Undertow material is fucccking amazing
Awesome! Cool to hear some songs from their first album. Would so cool if they did prison sex too 🎉🎉🎉
They did Prison Sex when I saw thim in 2019 but I saw them on Wednesday and they haven't played it once on this tour.
Jesus
Justin went from like 40 to 70 in a couple years.
Nice to see them playing some Undertow.
This is what happens when you don't listen to Maynards warning.... u end up deep in the swamp...
Still BADASS..... To ME
Undertow songs still sound the best with Pauls Rickenbacker. I cant unhear his tone with these songs. Justin is amazing but undertow songs always felt underwhelming to me since Justin (especially Sober)
The older Justin gets, the more he looks like Rick Grimes :D
I went and watched them last night and it was a great show as always but they didn't play anything off opiate or undertow and i was really disappointed about it
Used to play this at the bar. Then it was 20 minutes of annoying sounds, bartenders used to get so mad!
Half of them know what this song is…..
Just got my ass kicked
Are they still kicking people out for using phones???
At their shows, more than likely. At a festival like this they can’t control it.
@toolbert true, OK good to know. But I know someone will film or record every show regardless
The 3 headliners. Gnr plays 29 songs. All their classics. AC/DC. 24 songs. All their classics. Tool 12 songs? Only ? And didn’t play so many of their best songs. Wtf
Compare length of songs and style. Playing a 12 minute song like Rosetta Stoned is not the same as 3, 3 minute songs to fill that time.
Because tools songs are alot longer than most bands
Great job filming but man do they ever look boring and lifeless.
not gonna disagree. but are you here to look at people or for the music?
While ya can.. 🤘🏽
Hoping they play this when I see them in November. Haven't seen them play this shit since 97!
❤
