I,loved the beginning with a passage from Laura Ingalls Wilder❤❤❤. I really LOVE your home and how you decorate keeping the home true to the era of your home. Seeing Ms. Lilly in purple brought a smile to my heart. Maybe strip the mantle to natural wood and stain it to match the other pieces of wood. God is so amazing and He shows us everyday His love for us.

The decor turned out so cute. Honestly i think your furniture color keeps your house unique. So many influencers are doing raw wood and cool toned wood but your warm toned wood is actually a breath of fresh air. I do like that style of wood as well but its no fun watching the same style over and over. I know its sad and fustrating when things break. I still think you can use the frame but take the glass out. I feel you about being clumsy i have ADD and its pretty comomon for people with ADHD/ADD to have issues with cordination/depth perception. You are not alone with the random brusies and falls.

Hi Kristen! Ooh there's that sweet Lily!🥰 And Its a very pretty desk! The branch looks like a piece of the 'Queen Anns Lace' plant. They do make really pretty stems when they dry! Honestly I love all the wood tones in your home. With all the beautiful, old wood pieces, they all just look so pretty together! And they don't look orangey to me.😊 That color palate is gorgeous! I love the greens, that my fav color, in any shade!💚 The brown bottle with 1776 is an old vintage, bicentennial Log Cabin syrup bottle from 1976! I was a young girl babu i remember my mom & grandma used Log Cabin syrup & i remember seeing that bottle sat both homes & the grocery store. That year A lot of things had the bicentennial years make on them, including quarters. My dad had collected a ton of the quarters! Absolutely love the new print! The top of that cabinet looks really pretty!🤎 Love the hutch & how you've decorated it! I also love the print of "The Whistlers Mother", I'd love to find one! Even tho you know now that's the Queen Ann's Lace, anytime you need or want to identify a plant, just use your google Lens! It'll tell you exactly what the plant is & all about it, how to care for it, when or if it blooms, literally everything! I use it mainly on my old decor pieces, I've used it for plants, insects, birds, all sorts of things!😊 My son has one of the alligator heads, that was a bit larger, when he was younger, that we bought at a little shop at the beach. Love the brown transferware plate! And the multi-color pieces are vintage & they're beautiful too, one of my fav in transferware colors!! Purple is my favorite of all! The brown piece in the hutch is a water lily seed pod! Another piece you can google Lens. Also google Lens the transferware & it'll tell you about them! If you ever start using google Lens, you'll love it! I love to collect old bibles! I have several from the early 1900's, my oldest is a small chunky leather back. It was given to A sister by her brother on 12/25/1879, there's a handwritten note on the inside cover. But it could be older, that just when it was gifted! Love all the treasures in the hutch!🤎 I love the quotes or readings you've put on the screen today! Hey girl be thankful you still got a man that brings you flowers because you've had a bad day & loves on you just because he loves you! That's how it should be, no matter how long you've been married..1yr or 51yrs! That was so sweet😊 Just take the glass out of the pretty little picture & it'll be just fine! I take the glass out of any piece that i can without damaging the back or the art. Glass causes such a glare, the art actually looks better without the glass!🤷♀️ The bathroom looks really pretty! I love the antique chair, i love collecting old wood side chairs & sitting them all around my home.. that one is A 19th century Windsor chair! The fireplace is so cozy. I love the mantle with the pretty trim pieces! Its pretty white, but i can see it painted ina different color, then it would be a statement piece! I think the living room looks so pretty, so cozy & inviting! Of course i think your home is always beautiful!😊 You need to go all around the outside of your home, just a inches from the house, with seven dust and moth balls, & throw it under the house if you have any crawl space. You can get the seven dust at Lowes or Home Depot unusually, if not a local hardware should have it! It works! That what my uncle & grandpa always used. The house was surrounded by fields so they had to keep something out at all times! This is what they always used. So when I was living in NC we lived in the country, down a dirt road & beside a big hayfield. The first few wks the mice started getting in & we used the seven dust & moth balls & it worked for us! Your bedding is really pretty! My husband & I have always used a quilt. We're both hot natured & hate sleeping hot. So we could never use A comforter, we've always used a quilt. Oh Kristen the lamps really do look good! The house looks so pretty, so cozy & inviting! Hey.. A costume party sounds fun! Thanks sharing your home with us! I pray you have a blessed weekend!🙏🏻

The brown round with the holes is a water lily seed pod. You can find them in the fall in ponds where there are flowers on lily pads!
