Hi girl! Yesss I believe in tipping your servers because I was a server back in high school. I was paid $6 an hour… I relied on tips. But! I do believe the restaurant business could pay their employees more.
I do believe it’s based off the culture also because when I went to Thailand, there was no tipping and I didn’t feel the need to tip based off the service which was a nice dining experience. 🙏🏽
And yes girl, I’m so happy for you on going to therapy! I struggle with anxiety too but we will get through it! Cash stuffing def helps with financial stability and helping with anxiety.❤
Purple is my fav color too! 💜💜

    Hey Love!! ❤️🥹
SO happy you're loving your new position! 🎊🎉
I have to remind myself that finance is (generally) monotonous. I enjoy the stillness... but am nervous something is around the corner that I somehow have to be prepared for. The anxiety plus a scarcity mindset is not it. 10/10 don't recommend. 😂💀
I tip based on service. However, i rarely go to new restaurants. I have my staple places & staple servers. I always tip them. Heck we're on a first name basis now. 😂😂😂
    Awwwwee appreciate the shoutout! 🥹🙏🏿

Hey girl ♥️ You are so welcome !
I am working on not thinking bad things are coming because it can be really hard to be optimistic when things are so still
Also i LOVE being a regular at restaurants i feel so special ♥️

I feel like the service industry is just as demanding as any other industry and should get paid more. tipping your server is a good thing. I am in therapy as well and I made the choice to go, because so many times people are forced and aren’t ready. I have anxiety as well, so therapy helps. Having my finances together, writing things down, and doing savings challenges have helped because I am in control

Control is a huge part of anxiety and having control of what you can is so important.
I also think it is so demanding on the body and mind to be a server. They attend to a needs and they should be paid more ♥️

Very cute photos! Glad to see you back, and thank you for sharing that stability is good, it was a great reminder. And the challenge made by Hailey was so cute!
The act of tipping stems from an underlying issue in America where wages are poor and the consumer is expected to "fill the gap" so to say, rather than the business increasing worker wages. It's a possibility the person that you saw had this in mind, among other things. I feel that you hold a popular opinion to tip to show your gratitude! I struggle with tipping culture, because I'd prefer businesses and companies pay their workers well in the first place and not have the consumer pay out of their own pocket to fill in their misdoing. On the flip side, due to how engrained tipping culture is, it is difficult to imagine change happening by deciding not to tip. I want to show my gratitude to workers, and I want them to be paid well, so more often than not I tip, but I struggle with my decision every time, feeling that I support a broken system while doing so. There are common scenarios where I tip and do not tip, but regardless I make it a point every time I am served or helped I do my best to be courteous and try to make their day a little easier and happier. You have a good heart always helping and being considerate of others :- ) And I am happy for you that your job has been wonderful!

Thank you for this explanation. There is definitely a lot of angles to this issue. I love gow you said showing that gratitude no matter what because that is valuable in and of itself 🤍🤍

Tipping is a must for service industry. That’s how the employees make money. They don’t make barely anything per hour so literally their pay comes from tips 😭❤️
