- Precision Rifle Grip: Penguin
A former 3rd Ranger Battalion special operations soldier and several federal law enforcement agents methodically developed the Anarchy Outdoors Precision Rifle Grip: Penguin. The unique design of this grip gives Precision Rifle Competitors an edge. This rifle grip offers quick, repeatable, and ergonomic action on the gun.
The Penguin's design allows for true-thumb rest positioning while allowing the index finger to aline with the trigger. This development reduces shooter fatigue.
The palm swell allows for greater control and manipulation of the firearm while the palm shelf allows the shooter to rest their hand or instantly transition. The Penguin grip can be used on precision bolt action or precision AR-Style rifles and is also available in a larger sized "Emperor" line.

You guys need to make an ultralight version. I want something that is like 2 ounces, but not at the carbon fiber price point.
The tuxedo and Alpha are much lighter than our penguin check those out.
@@AnarchyOutdoorsOfficial I was looking at the Alpha and it says the same weight as all the other grips at 4 ounces. 4 ounces is still very light compared to a lot of other grips though
@JessieFarmer-u2w I just threw an alpha on the scale and it reads 1.98 oz.
@@AnarchyOutdoorsOfficial That is the grip for me then! Thanks!
I wish all these grips had the thumb rests on both sides I shoot Left hand and my son shoots Right hand
Interesting idea.
@@AnarchyOutdoorsOfficial Cool now talk them in to it lol 😉
Still loving my original penguin!
Glad to hear!
Own 4 penguins! Raised letters gives me finger tip grip. But give me a little more volume under the shelf to set my trigger finger further out...or is nylon and bondo compatible?
Any plans on offering a plug for the emporer? I’d like to carry some batteries/tools in it.
Great suggestion. We need to look into it.
Are these better than the rubber ones with the palm pad on the bottom? I just think I’d like the rubbery ones better but I’ve never used one like this? Recommendation on either?
I like these much more that the rubber ones with the palm shelf. Try one if you dont like it send it back.
It's a good concept. But it does not look like an grip I would want to carry all day.Two reasons is it hard like all those cheap MIL Spec grips that just about every one takes off as soon as they buy a gun.And the guys building ARs dont ever put onecon. They are uncomfortable and slipoery when hands get wet or sweaty.I think if it was made out of the same material as Hogue Grips are it would be awesome. GOOD VIDEO...Thanks for showing me.
These are made from Nylon 12 and as they get wet they become more abrasive.
All I can say is...don't knock it till you try it. ;) They are enormously popular for a reason. My favorite grip by far. (Penguin and Emperor owner fwiw)
@@ericbennett1253 I am ordering one to try out.But popular??I'm at a gun range nearly every day and gave yet to even see One.
I will get back to you after I get one.I will leave it at that.I have 17 ARs so I will put it one my newest build 6mm ARC
Yes they are very popular in the Long Range Precision community. Maybe not so much on the tactical side. Yet.
Fwiw, I would choose the Tuxedo for an AR. Doing that myself soon.
Well after getting the Tuxedo Grip I would not recommend it for AR's after all. I have all 3 styles and the Tuxedo feels weaker and cheaper. It's thin walled and has no bottom cap so just feels like it would crack if stepped on. (Not likely to happen, just saying.) But the Penguin and Emperor are top notch....and still my favorite for long guns. (Just don't like the raised lettering so I dremeled/sanded them smooth). I think the Ergo Tactical Deluxe is still my favorite AR grip so far. Might try the vertical model of it now though. Probably sell the Tuxedo :/
"A pulse in your thumb that can affect the harmonics of the rifle" ....what? on a 10lb rifle?
Thanks for the feed back.
Purchased the Emperor for my Ruger Precision Rifle Gen 3. The thumb shelf can’t be utilized due to the safety lever being in the way. Unfortunate.
Swap the safety for a shorter one.
If you can part with the ambi and change to a one-sided switch, you won't regret it. The shelf will (imo) become your thumb's permanent home in no time. You are not getting the full benefit or versatility of it right now. I recommend a switch switch. Lol.
Thanks, guys. Will end up being the solution.
I believe CMMG makes the RPR switch (gen2 anyway which was one sided). I bought the ambi version and it was identical otherwise to the factory switch. I put the factory back on when I installed the Penguin Grip. Just in case you were interested. Remember you need a 45° and not a 90°
Eric Bennett Thanks. Was just looking at that online.
Update..after saying Nah to the grip before trying. Now here is the update after buying 2 and putting them in..
Like I initially said....NOPE.
TOO NARROW and feels cheap.Ivwill stick with my Daniel Defense..Hogue and Ergonomic grips.I found no value in these and no improvement and the raised letters on them hurt my hand unless I wore a glove.
Thanks for your comments.
@@AnarchyOutdoorsOfficial sure. Some times ya can hit a home run 1st try.Sometimes ya strike out.And sometimes you have to tweak it before it's a big hit.Good Luck.
You must have been using them on an Ar if you have to grab it that hard.
They are very popular for long range since you are not having to grab and hold on for dear life 😂
Any idea when these will be back in stock?
Should be back in stock next week.
Pulse in your thumb that affects harmonics of your rifle?
No. Just stop.
To each their own.
Harmonics is not the right word.
But when you wrap your fist around the grip and squeeze it in turn can torque the rifle.
I’m sure they’re referring to being able to see your crosshairs moving as your pulse beats against the grip. I notice it when shooting long range if I’m using a traditional grip.
