her voice has gotten so much better, the strength, the technic, but why is it so hard to sing higher notes for her now? 5 years ago she would hit them live as in the record, and her voice has not changed that much since then. is she still a bit sick?
Is not as she can not . This year is just tour for fun and get some money to then record the new music they have just started writing, basically all shows are festivals except for the 15 dates in October for the Canadian tour .. so it's ok if she lowered a couple of songs... The new setlist has a lot of songs with lot of power if she did it all in the original key she would overuse her vocals .. she sang Sweet Sacrifice, Yeah Right, Taking Over Me and The Game is Over all in a row .. those are some of the hardest songs for her to do live .. specially The game is over yet.. she left that one in the original key.... Both sweet Sacrifice and taking over me has never been played in the original key, and also when they do the rock version of My Heart is Broken they have always taken a half key down on that song as well... This is fine because she leaves most of the songs in the original key except for the most hardest ones... So in sweet Sacrifice it was a decision for her to not over use her head voice because she had to sing a lot of other hard songs in a row. Once she hits the piano she takes a break and is able to continue the show with the other hard songs on setlist like End of the dream, Better Without You and Blind Belief which are also tough ones .... So the setlist was heavier than regular and I like it but is ok if Amy take some songs down just to preserve her voice for the rest of the shows

i think shes preserving it. she’s being extra cautious after she completely lost her voice during the Worlds Collide tour.

@@Matt-nz9dh no it’s definitely a lower key. If you compare this to earlier live versions you’ll notice it’s lower.
