The Biggus Dickus skit is in my opinion the the funniest Monty Python moment ever. Just having the extras trying to keep a straight face is worth pure gold.
I'm always weary of anything claiming improvisation on Monty Python's work. If you read any interviews with any of the members you'll see that they were very very very much improvisation averse which meant that everything was very well thought of, and analysed before it made it to the show/film. Also, their relationships were very tense because each one of them had their own strong opinion of how things should be done, so there wasn't a lot of space to improvise. The thing is that they're so good that a lot of their stuff looks improvised, but it's not.
The original Lumberjack song follow the "Homicidal Barber" sketch. You saw the remake from several years later. The original, Homicidal Barber is connected directly, the barber is the one singing the song. On my page "Monty Python's Flying Circus - Homicidal Barber & The Lumberjack Song - 1969"
Apparently the guy in the crowd scene where Brian is telling his followers they're all different and ad-libs "I'm not". did another in the crucifixtion scene where they do the spoof of Sparticus where everyone says "I'm Brian he ad-libbed "And so's my wife!" ..🤣🤣🤣 Both of those are two of my favourite lines in the film.
The Roman guards were not extras, they were actors from British tv, who's names appeared in the credits. As members of the actors union it wouldn't be possible to withhold their pay.
Dreaded Watch Mojo video spoiling everything. Why would anyone watch someone explaining a joke over the joke, whilst cutting the scene. How can that be funny. Just watch the original stuff!
@enemde3025 Thank you 👍 If it wasn't actually said out loud in the video then fair enough. Also do not get me started on David Attenburrow. To be fair it's not just Connor. Aargh! 😊✌
Lumberjack Song followed the Barber Shop sketch in the TV show. It was And Now For Something Completely Different where it followed the Dead Parrot sketch.
Never watch Mojo. It is a pure clickbait scam which must use some algorithim to collect random facts that could attract clickers. Bye, I no longer listen this crap.
No offence intended in my replied comment. You actually do a fairly decent British accent usually. Bugger! That doesn't sound condescending at all does it? "Taxi!" ✌
It would be work on your part, but if you find a 'good' WatchMoJo, find all the original clips and play them for us. Off your usual path, but we'd appreciate it

I've always enjoyed "very small rocks" too 😂
Churches!
Dead Parrot and Lumberjack Song together is from the film And Now For Something Completely Different.
The original from Monty Python's Flying Circus several years earlier are far better.
The Roman guards were not extras, they were actors from British tv, who's names appeared in the credits. As members of the actors union it wouldn't be possible to withhold their pay.
Them were the days!
The narrator must have practised not saying Bwian. 🤣
Connor your Brilliant , love the way you react. Best of all the reactors. Hope you get to the UK soon.

It’s just his accent 😩😭
Python is not a word we get to tell them to pronounce like us, there are words they say differently and you need to just get over it.

Yes, I'm off as soon as I see their logo. Ever since their Top 10 places to live in the UK - Swindon was number one!
Mo Jo Uk is always a let down.
sorry but I refuse to watch any watch mojo videos. I just know that the narrator is going to be talking over it the entire time
I could not watch this as Watch Mojo always ruin the video and always talk over it. Sorry but watch mojo is never a good channel to react to.
