Could I again ask for prayers for the little girl I have mentioned before? She has again started having seizures and is back in the hospital for more tests. Thank you all and God Bless!
Marina! Save yourself some time by washing the 2 girls clothes all together then the 2 boys all together, then yours and your hubby's then towels, sheets, etc. This saves time!!! When the dryer is done all clothes goes to same room so no more sorting into 6 people's piles for each load.
My momma is a house keeper and she gave me some tips and tricks to getting the laundry done. 1. Ten minutes a day dedicated to laundry. Can be gathering, folding, sorting, adding to the washer/dryer. Don’t matter what, just ten minutes and then done. 2. Everyone gets their own dirty clothes bin. When it’s half full add it to a communal bin. When the communal bin is full, time to do a load. 3. Add a colorful post it note to the door/entry to the laundry area everyday you DONT do laundry. You gonna start noticing them after 3-5 days haha Good luck will the laundry 💚
Hi Merina from Western Australia! Like you I am medically diagnosed adhd.I have been lucky enough to access to recovery coaches who have passed on some insanely helpful cleaning tips! The first is, “don’t put it down, put it away” this has been a game changer, and all my family now practice this. The second is assign a clothes washing day for each person in your family, where you just do a load of that one persons washing and sheets, and then one day of towels. Each person knows their day and strips their sheets and bring out their dirty clothes. This has worked wonders and made my life easier, as I’m not trying to get everyone’s bedding clean and back on their beds in one day! It’s also easier to fold and put away one persons laundry at once! Anyway, hope this helps someone with chronic disorganisation like me!
@@somedaywithamy it’s such a simple thing, I can’t believe it never occurred to me to do it! 😂but honestly it’s made such a difference to my giant washing loads!
There’s a girl on you tube says put your things/clothes away right away cause when we put them down in piles, that just forms us another job. So yeah it makes sense what you’re saying. Thx for the info. ❤️
@@robinlies9644 hey Robin! it was really scary at first, but well worth it, because it’s just stopped so many problems. It’s also made me feel more in control and not be so down on myself about not being able to keep up with all the laundry! It’s well worth a go!
Marina, I had 5 kids and they new they had to pick up their stuff. You need everyone in the house helping you. It is everyone's house and you are just one person. Stay tough because you are a good person.
I love that brick look. Please don't change it. You're just overwhelmed and second guessing yourself. Believe me I know. You all do such beautiful work! And I'm not one for commenting.
Maybe a countertop not so busy would make the brick look better. I love the brick look. I agree, please don’t change it!! Hope you and the family are doing well! 😀❤️
Can I ask for prayers that we can find what we need. I totaled our van this past weekend. (Lord was with us all because both myself and the other driver were fine and neither of us had our kids with us) As a mom of four and a one car family we need to find a safe affordable vehicle prayers are appreciated.
Y’all I came to give glory to God and answered prayers, we were able to find exactly what we needed exactly when we needed it! Thank you prayer warriors 💛
Honestly living in a single wide can get overwhelming because a small mess can look like a disaster. I try and focus on 3 things. Dishes, laundry and bathrooms (mostly sink and toilet). The rest I tackle as needed (focusing on dirtiest first). I try to declutter as much as possible. The less I have the less I have to handle lol
These are really good tips! For me, it’s dirty dishes in the sink that make my kitchen look super dirty. The counters & stove could be clean but if I have dishes in the sink, it just DOESN’T look clean lol
Laundry tip I use: Always do a load of bath towels before any other load. It’s quick to fold and put away so you’re more likely to get another load done!
I do that too and I also take "break laundry" in between loads. I wash my kids stuffed animals, washable rugs, sheets, car seats, high chair cover, throw blankets, throw pillows etc etc....just anything that needs to be washed that I don't have to actually fold in between all the clothes and towels. I'm still being productive with laundry while still not be overwhelmed with a lot of folding back to back. I can wash a load of clothes, wash car seat covers, then wash another load of clothes, and then wash my throw blankets etc.
You are such a beautiful ray of sunshine!! The world needs more like you! My son is 22 and I can say Ive never regretted letting somethings go to spend quality time with him. You’re babies will remember the wonderful memories they had with you, not the loads of dirty laundry. Well done momma!!❤️
I thought the same. It will help in keeping up. I also would have a load go every morning. Start the coffee, put the laundry going. Start a tumble dry if somethings in dryer. Seriously get the most small bullets knocked out before the coffee is ready. Then sit, check my list, etc.
My daughter had same issues with water bottles, and she invested in a water cooler thingy... it has worked wonderfully. Cost effective, better water taste and it even has hot water tap. Great for tea. You should check it out. I think it will be a great option for your family.
Was going to suggest this. We have old lead pipes so we won’t drink from the tap. We wasted so much water when we were getting bottles. We went ahead invested in a water cooler and some good water bottles and it has been great. It is more cost effective after the initial investment as well.
My grand daughters used to waste a lot of water bottles...we gave the leftover water to the dogs but there are reusable water bottles that not only are less wasteful and makes less plastic in the environment but there are some that filter tap water in the bottle...the water is filtered...they can be used at home but are also great for when you are out and about...they can be filled from public water spouts and be sanitized in the bottle and safe to drink..better on the wallet as well...they are a little pricey around $15.00 each ....just a friendly idea
Merina Hi My Name is Keeley. And tomorrow has been 1 year since your channel just popped up in my recommendations. And tomorrow has also been 1 year since my Mamas passing. And I am so Thankful and Blessed that I found your channel because you your family and your Nana has been a Joy to watch. I knew for some time that my Mama was going to pass soon and I knew that Jesus was telling me he was preparing me getting me ready for it. I absolutely love your little Love On 2 Feet Ministry Outreach. And I just wanna say Thank you Merina to your family and to your Precious Nana for giving me Joy not only me Joy but giving Joy to your viewers and to people who just randomly where your channel just pop up in there recommendations. Again Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH Merina for starting your channel and giving me Joy.
I'm sitting here watching you do your dishes while I have a sink full. I'm gonna crank up the volume so we can do them together! I always look forward to your videos. Thanks for always giving God the glory and praising Him. You are the best!
Love the Lucky Charms bottoms you have on. They look so comfortable. It looks like you replaced the rusty floor vent. So glad, as it was a potential danger.
I got the dag gone thing done! Dishes, 2 loads of laundry folded and put away and tidied up my house. Feels so good. Now i get to relax and watch you clean your house and listen to your uplifting voice.❤
I am 56 years old, and I always feel so guilty changing stuff and I am glad you shared sometimes even after a short time you realize it’s not you. You are so sweet and honest! Love your spirit❤️
Love watching your videos, you help me get motivated. I struggle with depression and anxiety alot and fall into a funk and I get behind on life and cleaning. I'm a single mom I work 10 plus hrs a day but the time I get home its 7 or 8pm and I still have to cook and clean. Thank you for keeping me going
Love love love your videos! I realized part of being a good parent was to prepare my kids to become successful adults and part of that is taking care of your home, so as they grew I taught them how to sweep, mop, do the dishes, do the laundry, use a vacuum cleaner, etc. I told my son's they needed to know these skills because they would be out on their own someday and when they married most likely their wives would be working fulltime too and it was not just the woman's job to tackle the chores. I can say with great satisfaction they are adults now who take pride in their home and do chores as are needed and not leave it to their wives or have to be told. Proud Mama!
Get your children involved in the cleaning. Like fold/hang/put away their own clothes. Let them help fold towels and washcloths . Make them a rotating chore chart, that way they won't always be doing the same chore all the time. It is great preparation for adult life.
She has touched on the kids and they do stuff off line that we don’t see. She is doing a cleaning channel and her children aren’t. If that makes sense. She isn’t going to talk about or show them cleaning for content. 😁
I was listening to the klove radio station yesterday and the radio host was talking about how when she moved into her first apartment she didn’t have any furniture. And her friend asked if she had prayed for a couch. She thought it was funny. But God cares about the couch as much as he cares about everything else you pray for. So pray for the couch. God will provide all your needs. I see it in my life all the time. 💕 God bless you. Love your channel. I look forward to watching your videos. I’m praying for your family! Hope y’all have a wonderful weekend!
I have a couple suggestions for you. First, go look at some thrift stores for a couch. Sometimes you find great deals and you can even ask them for discount. Second, I think Shane could make you a flip down table on wall beside your back door. It could fold up when not being used or down for you to fold laundry. Third, use your crockpot more...You can even make lasagna and spaghetti in it...people even make cakes in them. When I was a younger working mom I used it at least 3 nights a week.
I enjoy your videos! Thank you for being "real"! Other channels I have watched show make it seem like there is never anything out of place or out of order. You are the real deal. Thank you for showing us that life can be messy! I enjoy your humor and love to see how you tackle your home projects. I am a chicken when it comes to home projects. Keep up the great work! May God bless you in all you do!
I always enjoy your videos they are so fun we bought my hubby a oversized chair for $400 there it was broke in a couple months its junk we have no small kids no reason it should have done that hes older and has dementia please pray for him life is difficult for us right now love ya my sweet friend God Bless You.
Hey Marina! I found FlyLady about 15 or so years ago. The thing that has stuck with the most is always do your dishes and at least one load of laundry per day. Fold and put up the laundry. This gets done and cooking if nothing else does that day. I know you have 4 children and a hubby and that is lots of laundry, but you can do it! I also clean one room per day so by the end of the week I have cleaned the whole house. I have procrastinated too, so don't think I am Miss Perfect, because I am not. I am loving your DIY Projects! You & your hubby are great with these!
I have had good luck on facebook marketplace finding really nice lightly used furniture. I found an Ikea couch, and because it was Ikea, they sell new covers for it and the cushions, so I could completely refresh it inexpensively. Also I got a really high end leather chair for $50. I know used isn't for everyone, and there's a lot of junk out there, but you can find some good quality things!
Love watching your videos. As for the counter tops in the kitchen maybe a lighter color and less busy design will look good because the brick looks so good. I would suggest maybe do a youtube live once a month like a chat with you and your family or your husband to to answer questions or communicate with your community. Some people like to donate with a super chat which could help with the saving for the kids things or with the next purchase of your couch. Since you and your family love hanging out together and watch movies and stuff. Much love and cant wait till the next video.
You my dear are a shining light♥️ I have been struggling lately with my house chores and balancing work 5 days a week, 4 kids, a husband who works 12 hours a day, sports with the kids 3 to 4 days a week. I just have developed an almost despise of laundry, cooking, and cleaning. I know it needs to be done but I have lost the motivation to do so. Mom burn out is so real. But watching you and listening to you, helps build that motivation back up. There is no therapy like Merina speaking to you in the background while folding clothes♥️
Well I finally got my Christmas tree and decorations all down. My Dad died January 7, 2022 and my Mom died a year ago today. My husband had a seizure January 23. My home is finally clean and back in order. My life is slowing down to a dull roar after the chaos. Still dealing with my Dad's Trust which I am the Executor of. I was so stressed and anxious but it's getting better. I'm learning to do one thing at a time. Don't get stressed Merina your a good Mom, wife, teacher, home decorator, etc. I am a list maker it's the only way I can stay organized. Love your videos. Take care of yourself Merina!
We have the same thing with our water bottles. What we found that helped is we take 2-3 bottles at a time for each person and get then marked first thing in the morning. We found we had less unmarked bottle sitting around.
Every night before bed, I put in a load of laundry and set the timer, so that the washer is done in the morning when we get up. That makes it quick to transfer it to the dryer and having the first load done.
We all have our try times, trying to get a meal done, try to get our houses clean, trying to have time for kiddos, spouses and others!! Don't worry just take time for you! And, furthermore, I enjoy watching you and get some motivation to make sure I haven't overlooked something!!
No shame in lawn chairs until you get what you need. I’ve sat in a lawn chair a few times when roommates moved out and then when my husband and I moved across the county. I would say Ashley furniture has treated us very well over the years. We had to leave behind a wrap around couch with recliners when we moved and we both miss it even 5 years later.
The best advice I can give you is pair down on your clothes and it will make keeping up with the laundry so much easier. I am a busy homeschool momma also and it has been a game changer for me.
A tip I learned is filling a pan 3/4 full with water and a little dish soap then put on the stove to boil or simmer and it helps cut down soaking time and less scrubbing
Dear Merina, there's no need to be so hard on yourself. Everyone's house gets destroyed at one point or another. The important part is not leaving it there for days on end. Also, I see you doing a lot of this house work by yourself. Your children are old enough that when you hang clothes on a hanger you can holler at them and say "hey come get your clothes and hang them up in the closet." Also, just as a house rule, ( this is for everyone) when putting a dirty dish in the sink, spray a little water in the bottom of it. I myself, do not like folding laundry, but I find that if I put on two of my favorite songs, and fold just for the length of those two songs, I can get much more accomplished than I thought. It makes the task seem to go faster. Most importantly, be kind to yourself! 💞
Hi Kristen, not sure if you’re new here… her kids do help and have chores. She does not put them on the net while doing their chores etc bc it’s her channel for cleaning n motivation and not their kids. She states it on her vids bc ppl see mins of her 24 hr days n assume the kids don’t help or she does it by herself:)
@@chit-chat007I LOVE Merina's videos!! BUT... I also think her kids are old enough to pick up after themselves. You can see in the videos that the kids have left most of the mess. Teach them to throw trash in the trash and not on the floor. Teach them to put away whatever they get out, put it where it belongs.Teach them to hang up their own clothes. They need to learn these skills before they are adults and the parents should be the ones teaching them. Merina still has the laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cooking, home schooling, cleaning the bathroom...and on and on. If the kids do what they are able to do...it still leaves A LOT for Merina to do in her videos for cleaning motivation!
You go girl! I just couldn’t today. But tomorrow this girl is going to clean this house! My family could use some prayers girl. We are going through some tough times. I know God will open doors & he will provide our needs. Just trying so hard not to worry. Any who! You keep staying blessed. I am ready to see the next video. ❤️
Looks beautiful! I love your decor. I’ve never had a nat (gnat..🤷♀️) for decorating. I’m just now starting to pick up something here or there that I think I like. And unfortunately, I also am probably absolutely not going to buy any furniture at big lots after a similar experience. It’s so hard for me to spend more $ on quality things but I’ve learned it’s worth it for the bigger things most of the time.
Hi Marina, Don’t normally comment but I feel like this might help time wise. All you should do before loading a dishwasher is scrape your plates and possibly rinse them, the dishwasher does the work. Any food partials that come off in the wash are collected in a filter at the bottom of machine which should be emptied after each wash just like you do with the tumble dryer filter. I see many people on yet wash plates before putting them in the dishwasher it stop the machine from effectively cleaning the dishes 🥰
I actually got vacuuming done today. This sadness/depression is hopefully lifting as we get closer to spring. YOU are my inspiration and I'm happy to call you friend!!! Love you girl!!
It helps if you put water in each dirty dish when you put them in the sink in case you don’t have time to stick them in the dishwasher right away. I’ve made this a habit over the years and it is a lifesaver for me!
We had the same issue with single use plastic water bottles in our family. We quit buying them and let each kid choose a reusable water bottle. This prevents us from adding trash/recycling unnecessarily. Also, I don’t find half used waters everywhere. It’s also healthier for kids not to drink water that has been sitting in plastic! We leave our cups by the fridge so the kids can fill them up when they want water. It’s worked so much better!
Hi merina can we please pray for Ukraine pray for the world and pray for peace. All this has me so scared and worried. Lots of love and stay safe,Lisa from the UK 💖
Marina, get a strainer plug and put it in the side of the sink you don’t wash in. Rinse your dishes there and all the food debris will sit in the strainer, ready for you to just pick it up and throw into the trash. When you clean your sink you can clean the strainer at the same time. Easy, peasy.
Super excited to watch this tonight! But also this weekend when I need to clean my apartment that I’ve let go because of depression getting the best of me
I want to thank you for the WalMart hauls because several weeks ago I decided to give it a try and I LOVE it!! It is not a matter of not wanting to go into the store it has to do with being able to control how much I spend. Compulsive buying does not exist. I find I have much better control in how much I spend.
Merina, I have to tell you that since you mentioned (and used) the Method all purpose spray I went and got some. I am in looooove! I use it all over and I adore the scent. Thanks so much!
When you do your closet declutter I recommend this….1 to 3 ratio.. For everyone item you bring in the house. You Declutter three. And that way you will be able to sustain it.♥️♥️♥️♥️
Hey Merina! Just a tip on how I clean that gunk out of the kitchen strainer after doing dishes. I just take the strainer completely out and go to the garbage can. I then hang onto the bottom of the strainer and tip it upside down and bang the strainer against the inside of the can. It knocks all of that gunk off right into the garbage! Once in awhile you might have to pull off 1 piece that is sticking to it. So much better. Hope this helps! Have a Wonderful day!!!!😁
Adapting stuff like you're doing with Fly Lady to suit your own needs works wonders. Play to your strengths. I can never face an hour long blitz so do a 5min tidy in each room each day , that way it never gets too out of hand & i never feel overwhelmed 😁♥️
Boy o boy do I remember the days of laundry with kids and two adults!!!!! Now just hubby and mine lol!!!! On occasions I will do my youngest son’s laundry. It gets easier as the years go by!!!!! Y’all’s home so warm and cozy always ♥️ So sorry about seeing 1/2 the couch go but gained soooo much room!!! Love y’all take care Toodles till next time ♥️
Hey this is a grandma in Texas.. did you ever think about getting the water dispenser the ones at Walmart where you put that water bottle on top and each person can get a glass of water or as much as they need to drink and that way all they need to do is have their glass ready with their initials on it on the side of it so that way if they get thirsty they just get as much as they can drink and no more.. just a suggestion I just love your videos I love you little home it's so pretty you're a lovely family.
I always look forward to your videos, girly! You always make me laugh out loud! 🤣 The vacuum can be an incredible dusting tool, with the proper attachments!! Lots of love from The Bowers Family ❤
@@fearfullycreated Also, "manageable" was the word you were looking for, to describe keeping the closet tidy. You want to declutter it enough to keep it manageable. 😉
Medina, laundry is my nemesis. I hate going up and down the stairs. Yesterday, I was going down the stairs to get a can of tomato sauce and to switch the laundry around. Needless to say, I fell completely down the stairs. I am sore all over and have rug burns on a shoulder, both knees and on top of my foot. My foot is bruised, ankle swollen but I lived to tell about it. Go Me! Good luck to getting your laundry done! I hope you do. When I do mine, when it gets washed, I immediately put it in the dryer. When that is done, I always fold as I can take
I used to throw a load of laundry in when I started supper and put in the dryer after supper. Then I would put away in the morning. I think you are doing great. Six people have a lot of laundry, you homeschool and work from home. Good job, Mama. Valerie in SC
We are a family of 6 as well and honestly sometimes I set a timer for 10 minutes and everyone helps pick up 1 room. Then we take a break and then tackle another room 10 minutes, but when we all pitch in it doesn't take long. But trust me when I say I'm not a great home maker either... I struggle.
Hi Merina, Love the transparency & relatability of your videos. Work life balance is an ongoing struggle but you are doing a great job. As a single mom of 4, I assign a laundry day between kids clothed/bedding and my laundry/towels. I got rid of my love seat and purchased 2 Queen Anne style chairs on FB marketplace for my livingroom. Doing that opened up the space but still provided adequate seating. Maybe "manageable" or "maintainable" were words you were looking for. Defeating my tendency to have a clutter is an ongoing battle. I applaud you!
Hey Merina! Have you ever considered getting a filter for your faucet like a brita, and then buying the kiddos each their own water bottle? We did that at our house to cut out water bottles and waste, it’s worked phenomenal and we’ve never looked back! Plus you can add ice that way if you’re an ice water person 😊
Sustainable is the word you're looking for at the end there 😂 I'm so sorry about your couch. Big Lots needs to see this because even though that couch fell apart on you you didn't throw them under the bus. I have mad respect for you, girl. ❤
Thank you for sharing, we love you☺️ Our household was on a dilapidated $600 couch bought new from a furniture store for almost a year too, and we made it work. I was never willing to spend the upwards of 2,000-3.000$ price tag to purchase the new couches I liked. In the end we were able to get a very nice high end couch used on Facebook Marketplace for only a few hundred dollars and we’ve had it for almost 3 years and we still love it. Thrifting your furniture pieces that get the most use is great because it will enable you to get pieces that are much higher quality in a budget and it is more sustainable for the environment by not creating a demand for newly manufactured things. I’ve loved watching you flip the things you have, you are already being more sustainable by doing that and sharing that option with others 😊
I love the gray dishes/bowls you were washing. I've been looking for some like that. Where did you get them? Thank you so much for the motivation and inspiration!
Thank you Marina for showing you again my house was getting a little shabby every time you come in I clean my house with you love you and your family God bless you you got a heart of gold your houses lived in
Girl, you do you and the best is you! Spending time with the kids and family is more important than anything! You have a beautiful home! I think Big Lots needs to pay to fix your couch or give you your money back or a new sofa! That is so not right! Also, talking about the Flylady! I started learning from her, years ago! I love the Flylady and I too have to remind myself of the routines and making it work for me! I still shine my sink almost every night! I hate going to bed with a dirty sink! Also having the kids pick up after themselves and having their own routines help too! You got this! Your doing great!
Shane is the sweetest, just comes out of nowhere to help with the couch. He's the best! They also sell your living room rug at Sams Club, i almost bought the same one. Love you and your family, Merina. God bless.
Love to see the more farmhouse metal decor decluttered? I 😍 your laundry door. All the kids can help with laundry to sort, start the washer, rotate them and help putting them up. I always think what if I'm not here one day. I dont want them to be lost even more. Decluttering has helped me so much mentally. It gives me so much time back spending time with my family without feeling guilty. I really like your voice overs. Like really getting into what your thinking! It really has opened up your home!! Could even do like bean bags for the kids or poofs. Like any cool kid seating! I've been thinking to go further declutter my kitche. getting rid of the counter knife set and spatula cooking jars and put in a drawer. Like I have to move them ever time to clean. They get splatter on them when cooking and some dusty. It looks so much cleaner without the wires hanging. What about no paper towels you have so many nice kitchen towels. or have them hang under your cabinet for more counter space.
So glad I found your channel, I love watching your videos and having Jesus nudge my heart through you. When I homeschooled each of my 4 kids had a color. So I used color rubber bands for them to put on water/juice bottles. The girls were red and pink and my boys had blue and green. We pretty much color coded all their stuff so at a glance I knew whose was what. With 4 kids some days my brain was on overload. ;)
I agree with those who have said paint the brick the color of your walls it will give the texture and definitely add to the area but blend with your color scheme as far as the walls I have a friend that keeps changing it when she paints and it always adds💞
Just a thought. Some churches have furniture that has been donated to them and are happy to trade for food items or other pantry items to fill the food pantry. I’ll pray for wisdom for you while making a big decision on future furniture. Love your honesty and humble heart.
My dining room table is such a clutter magnet. I try to keep it under control but.............I try, but man, it gets away from me. And it's just my husband and myself!! Thank you for your continued motivation. It is so appreciated.
Merina there is a bar you can hang (in the laundry room) on the side wall that will swing in and out or you can get them where they fold up and down. You can hang hangers on there and or clothes that you want to air dry. Many blessings sweet beautiful lady.
Hey Merina, I hate cleaning the sink drain after dishes too. If you pull the sink stopper up enough to drain the water but keep the food trapped then you can just dump out the food into the trash. No need to touch it at all! Have a blessed day!
Spring cleaning? Start at the top, wash all curtains, wipe down the walls, wash all bedding and windows. Clean all corners. Clean the fridge and stove and tidy all closets and cabinets.
I feel like we would be best of friends if we knew each other in real life!❤️ Prayers needed for my little guy, he has surgery scheduled on Monday in Charlotte, he’s autistic and it will be super hard on him and my husband will stay home with home with the other kiddo.
I do laundry two days a week as much as I can then of coarse bedding I do every other week on a saturday and make the beds with fresh sheets and blankets. It worked wonders for me.
Do you ever make chore charts and have the kids empty dishwasher? Take out trash etc? Even if they can’t reach everything they can set it on the counter? I am just one that picks up, like the pillows from the couch or throw blankets or books etc before going to bed. My kids had to pick up there stuff also. Made them very responsible now as adults.
a little tip you can fill up the dog's bowls with the left over waters from the bottles so it's not waste.. if it has salt in it you may want to ask your vet if it's safe for the dogs..our cats drank bottled water on occasion but it was spring water not purified.
Merina, I always enjoy the clean and chat videos. The leftover water left in the bottles, save it and use it for the pups. You all need heavy duty leather furniture, pre owned is not a bad way to go, better cost.
Could I again ask for prayers for the little girl I have mentioned before? She has again started having seizures and is back in the hospital for more tests. Thank you all and God Bless!
You got it friend! Never feel the need to ask if you can ask for prayer! It is what we’re here for! ❤️ we got you all covered!!!

Marina! Save yourself some time by washing the 2 girls clothes all together then the 2 boys all together, then yours and your hubby's then towels, sheets, etc. This saves time!!! When the dryer is done all clothes goes to same room so no more sorting into 6 people's piles for each load.
Yes! Ms Chilson I agree as well that this way will help Mrs Merina finish her family clothes in record timing! 😊
This is what I do with my family
My momma is a house keeper and she gave me some tips and tricks to getting the laundry done.
1. Ten minutes a day dedicated to laundry. Can be gathering, folding, sorting, adding to the washer/dryer. Don’t matter what, just ten minutes and then done.
2. Everyone gets their own dirty clothes bin. When it’s half full add it to a communal bin. When the communal bin is full, time to do a load.
3. Add a colorful post it note to the door/entry to the laundry area everyday you DONT do laundry. You gonna start noticing them after 3-5 days haha
Good luck will the laundry 💚
The post it note idea is so smart!
That's amazing, good job. 👏

I really like your method of laundry. Also putting things away instead of just sitting them down somewhere. Thanks
Her kids do help she just doesn't put them on camera
Kids help she just doesn’t film them 😇😇
I love that brick look.
Save the damaged side's cushions for temporary floor cushions, maybe. Also, "manageable" is the word you were looking for...to keep the closet tidy.👌🏽
GREAT idea ‼️ The sofa cushions would be great floor cushions. 👏🏻👏🏻
Like the floor cushion idea.
Can I ask for prayers that we can find what we need. I totaled our van this past weekend. (Lord was with us all because both myself and the other driver were fine and neither of us had our kids with us) As a mom of four and a one car family we need to find a safe affordable vehicle prayers are appreciated.
You got it! Praying right now!!! I’ve seen Him do it 👏🏻👏🏻❤️
Y’all I came to give glory to God and answered prayers, we were able to find exactly what we needed exactly when we needed it!
Same!!!
Laundry tip I use: Always do a load of bath towels before any other load. It’s quick to fold and put away so you’re more likely to get another load done!
I do my towels as my last load. I don't care if they get wrinkly if I leave them in the dryer. :)
Lol I think this way too
This is very true I also feel the same way with jeans lol
For my family of 7 I divided up our laundry (Monday towels-sheets, Tuesday girls, Wednesday guys) and this helped me so much.
I thought the same. It will help in keeping up. I also would have a load go every morning. Start the coffee, put the laundry going. Start a tumble dry if somethings in dryer. Seriously get the most small bullets knocked out before the coffee is ready. Then sit, check my list, etc.
I do something similar. Specific loads on specific days
And yes due to having ADD I have to have a daily check list or I am all over the place.
Just love how honest you are, your a true inspiration to everyone who watches your videos and yes it’s hard to adult sometimes
You guys encourage me every day of my life 🥺❤️❤️❤️
My daughter had same issues with water bottles, and she invested in a water cooler thingy... it has worked wonderfully. Cost effective, better water taste and it even has hot water tap. Great for tea. You should check it out. I think it will be a great option for your family.
I was gonna suggest the same thing I'm gonna try it
I have one those Water bubblers best investment
Think of all the plastic bottles that will be kept out of the landfill
Yes! I’ve had one for over 10 years and wouldn’t be without!
I would gladly make that small investment! In the long run I’d be spending less on water! This is a fantastic idea!
🌷🙌🏼♥️
Love the Lucky Charms bottoms you have on. They look so comfortable.
It looks like you replaced the rusty floor vent. So glad, as it was a potential danger.
I got the dag gone thing done! Dishes, 2 loads of laundry folded and put away and tidied up my house. Feels so good. Now i get to relax and watch you clean your house and listen to your uplifting voice.❤
OH HECK YES!!! I am so proud of you!!!!
high five 🙌🏻🙌🏻
That made me feel good too😂👏🏼
Great job 👏🏻!!! Woot woot
Proud Mama!
An air purifier may help the air quality of the house especially with pets and saw dust. I noticed a huge difference before and after using one
The ketchup on the floor had me rolling... I’m so glad I’m not the only one that finds random items in the living room!
I just love the brick look in your home--including the kitchen!!!! I think it looks so awesome.!!!!
Don't change it PLEASE!
Flip down shelf is genius!!!!
Your happiness and kindness is so contagious! Your a blessing to RUclips!
Seriously tho!!! I am so happy Jesus put her videos before me she brings so much joy and comfort to my life watching her videos
Oh my goodness I am so glad that I am not the only one that let's their dishes soak for days !!! Thank you for being you !
Love the brick wall. It looks like the real deal!
That's what I'm working towards, get my home declutter and have it sustainable so it functions well.
One thing I use with half-filled water bottles is fill up the dogs' water bowls. I also use them for my plants like you do.
Hey Merina, two times in one week is such a gift! I can't wait to see what this one's about. You are such a good friend! ❤️🥰
Thank you for always being here friend 🥺❤️❤️
The best advice I can give you is pair down on your clothes and it will make keeping up with the laundry so much easier. I am a busy homeschool momma also and it has been a game changer for me.
I got my couch from Facebook marketplace for cheap and we love it! Definitely look there often and hopefully you'll find one 😊 I love you girl ❤
A tip I learned is filling a pan 3/4 full with water and a little dish soap then put on the stove to boil or simmer and it helps cut down soaking time and less scrubbing
I do that too
Dear Merina, there's no need to be so hard on yourself.
Correct chitchat and in the beginning of video she was rocking to music while doing laundry😊
I personally love the smaller couch! Add a chair and put your family table you recently redid over there and bam! Beautiful! 🥰
It is so hard to get any of my cleaning done with a 4 week old and a 4 year old! So I will just sit and hold my newborn while I watch you clean! 😅
Probably absolutely 🤣🤣 I love you lol
Knack for decorating
@@AmethystAmesAndCo lol, Yes! Thank you!
Big lots couches are the worse! Sorry big lots I like your other stuff but couches is a no no lol
Hi Marina,
Don’t normally comment but I feel like this might help time wise.
Looking forward to the closet declutter!! Mine is to the point where i even hate to go in there! I know you will motivate me to tackle mine!! 💗
YES YES YES ❤️ let all men make peace with one another ❤️
@@fearfullycreated 🙏💛🙏💛🙏💛
Marina, get a strainer plug and put it in the side of the sink you don’t wash in. Rinse your dishes there and all the food debris will sit in the strainer, ready for you to just pick it up and throw into the trash. When you clean your sink you can clean the strainer at the same time. Easy, peasy.
Super excited to watch this tonight! But also this weekend when I need to clean my apartment that I’ve let go because of depression getting the best of me
You got this friend 😄 I was in a rut too but we’re gonna still do the daggone thang 😄
@@fearfullycreated ......in JESUS name AMEN!! you've come so far Merina! u r such an inspiration to so many of us
I want to thank you for the WalMart hauls because several weeks ago I decided to give it a try and I LOVE it!!
I bought the o cedar mop she got too lol 😂 I’m with you! Lol
When you do your closet declutter I recommend this….1 to 3 ratio.. For everyone item you bring in the house. You Declutter three. And that way you will be able to sustain it.♥️♥️♥️♥️
I’ve been watching for a long time. I’m so proud of you. You are doing great keeping your home clean and beautiful.
Instead of the word "keepable" for the closet makeover, the word you might be looking for is "sustainable". Love you! Doing a great job!
Or maintainable. 🙂
Yayyyyy!!!!! Merina Day!
THERES MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!
You said it!!! 👏🏻❤️
Love y’all take care Toodles till next time ♥️
Just watched Lacie and now get to watch my other favorite. 💕 Love watching both of you. Cleaning with you while listening. 😊
You are so kind ❤️
Lots of love from The Bowers Family ❤
great tip! I need to look at my attachments lol
I always forget mine has attachments 😂😂😂
@@fearfullycreated Also, "manageable" was the word you were looking for, to describe keeping the closet tidy. You want to declutter it enough to keep it manageable. 😉
👍YOU are a JOY to watch!
🤣YOU are so FUNNY!
✝️YOU are PRECIOUS in HIS eyes!
❤️Thank you for the fun motivation!😀
I really like the duster from Grove. It’s washable so whenever it’s dirty you can put it in the washer to reuse!
Thank you for sharing, we love you☺️
Our household was on a dilapidated $600 couch bought new from a furniture store for almost a year too, and we made it work.
No leave the brick. I love it. Yes change counter top
Awesome video girl.
