I hope Trisha can give bluey a try, it’s one of the most healing children’s show that includes the real view of an adult, and it’s so beautiful and heart wrenching with so many lessons to learn both from a child’s and adults eye view
This energy is unreal lol Ted needs to come back. His vibe works so well with them and you can see how comfortable they are. It just feels like three friends talking about nothing and everything.

*Australian here* - The reason that Bondi stabbing made such huge news, is because its *so rare* - Its so safe here, we don't have guns (even the police don't really use them), we're a very non-violent country as far as that sort of thing... Domestic violence is a pretty big problem though, as is drunken king hits between guys etc... But as a woman we really don't have to worry, even at night, its super safe, there's way way way more strangers killed in the US than here (I mean that woman punching thing in NY was before our Bondi stabbing)

As someone who barely survived Toxic Shock Syndrome (not from leaving it in too long, but from some of the cotton fibers breaking off inside, as scary as that is!) it's definitely a lot more common than people think. The US averages around 3-6 cases per every 100,000 people within menstruation age. There are 65.5 million women in the US ages 15-44 and we all know most get their period before 15 and continue to have it later than 44. Nvm adding in those who identify otherwise. Also, not only do some cases end up with amputations of digits or limbs, but 30-70% of cases end up in death. I was in a medically induced coma for weeks and had to learn how to walk again at only 21 years old. Ik trish was just making a silly joke but since they went so in depth with their period conversation i felt like this comment section was the place to clarify the comment about shock. The More You Know 🌈 lol

Omg im so sorry you had to go through that. Im terrified of TSS and I’ve accidentally left a tampon in for like 3 days. I have really bad health anxiety and I’ve had full on spirals about TSS, I can’t imagine going through it.
@@connermcintosh4322 Aww i appreciate that. 😊 And I wasn't trying to scare you or anyone, so i apologize if i did. I just wanted to let people know it's out there and esp not a one off case. Lol But I've had friends accidentally leave it in for days and be fine. One friend left it in for almost a week because they forgot they had one in and was putting a second one in the whole time 😳 lol If you follow the directions on the package of changing it every 6-8 hours, you should be fine. Personally, I will never use one again. Although I always preferred them because imo, it just felt so much more sanitary. I was an extreme case though and even at Mass General, one of the best hospitals in the world, they did say it was something they didn't see often at all. So infrequently that it was hard for them to diagnose actually. Especially with my case because the tampon wasn't in, and I didn't have my period at the time I was admitted. As someone who already thinks about the dangers of this I'm willing to bet you are very vigilant (esp after accidentally leaving it in once) and will never experience tss. I've never even met someone else who has had it so don't let those statistics scare you too much. I just really wanted to give some facts and stats so no one who was young and impressionable thought "yeah that's prob not even real" after hearing that comment and ended up acting more recklessly with their tampon usage.
