Amazing, i've understood the amount of knowledge about dc motor which i couldnt understand before, only with 20 minute of your video. You are the best teacher in the electrical field. Please make more videos about electrical machines and devices.
With a shunt wound motor why would it speed up to the point it would self-destruct? Wouldn't it start creating a back EMF which would limit its speed? And if not why don't you just write it at a lower voltage?
