Chris......I came back from your latest upload to look over these old Can Ams. I rode one just like this and the rotary valve really helped the powerband. This bike handled pretty good considering the time frame but they didn't have much travel in comparison to other bikes of the time. The later CanAms kept the rotary valve for awhile and then went to reed valves and better suspension and some of them were quite powerful. Too bad they went out of business.
