      There were non-Black slaves all over Africa but mostly in Muslim kingdoms. Most of these slaves were more like servants and very well treated and taken care of. The ones who were real slaves were the Europeans and Americans captured by North Africans (mostly) from the 16th(1500) century to the 18th (1700) century before the Atlantic trade started. Muslim North Africa would capture and enslave (Christian) Europeans and Americans. That is part of the reasons why white slave traders feared to go inland because they would hear stories of white people being captured and forced to work. And also why they started arming their ships or/and would be accompanied by royal navy vessels because of them constantly being raided by Africans who would free their peers but capture and enslave everybody else. It is recorded that England lost at least 400 sailors a year to Mulsmin slave raids during the 17th century and that over 200 white americans captured between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic were enslaved in Algeria in the late years of the 17th century. Of course this is known only to a few as the WS have been trying hard to erase that part of the history pretty much like Egypt Pharoahs have been whitewashed. But fear not, the age of aquarius is here and the revelation of the truth has started. Everything that has been hidden or erased will come through and be revealed. "Truth is like fire it cannot be hidden under dry leaves." (African proverb).

      @Judah Israel 😂 go troll somewhere else. Rudeness eclipsed your intellect and left you with no arguments as you didn't read and understand my post cause nowhere in that post I have undermined the Atlantic slave trade. But let me waste a little time schooling you a little bit more even if I'm certain you will come back more rude. Do you have any idea of what a galley slave is? Go look it up. Do you know what a barbary pirate aka corsair is? Look it up as well. Except for women that were mostly sold as concubines, men sold to be slaves laborers would eat nothing else but rancid bread and water. They would be beaten on the soles of their feet and their bellies at their masters'will. Very few had their own houses as they would all sleep together in their master's barn. They would be killed, tortured, or mutilated (yes cutting the hand that stole or the legs attempting to escape or the tongue that refused to talk or say the right thing was a reality). One of the most known victim of that slave trade is Miguel de Cervantes who wrote "Don Quixote". Him and his brother Rodrigo were sold to slavery in Algiers after being captured by Turkish pirates. What saved him from death, mutilation, or torture were the letters of commendation for the king of Spain he carried that magnified his importance. Regardless of his many attempts to run away he and his brother never suffered any physical abuse. His adventure is well documented in Christians records in churches in Algiers as well as Spain. North Africans would go as far as Iceland raiding villages and cities capturing slaves.
      The "White" slavery was predominant from the 1500s to the 1700s. But in the 1200s Sundiata had already proclaimed the Manden Charter (go look it up lol) and Sundiata was a muslim descendant of Bilal Ibn Rahib who was himself born into slavery and freed by Abu Bakr. Bilal became one of the most trusted and loyal companion of prophet Muhammad
      Bilal is one the most illustrious name in the Islamic history ans his quest for pluralism and human equality in Islam is well documented. He is the reason why Muslims would not enslave other muslims. Thus muslims brought from other empires would be treated as servants and would not be considered or treated as slaves. Most times it was an equal exchange as Africans would be sent the same way for a couple of months or years. From the 14th to the 16th centuries, Timbuktu (Mali) was an important hub for trade and islamic knowledge and its famous library has records of the slave trade.
      We all know the impact of the Atlantic slave trade that spanned over 4 centuries and involved at least 12 million enslaved Africans. It wasn't the purpose of this video which focused on African history that hasn't been said and isn't common knowledge for everyone. So just enjoy the video and go do some research. Thank you🙏🏾

    It's first article is freedom from any bound to anyone but to a single deity Allah as the creator of all and only him we answer to.
    I see no any mortal white or black better than me in his eyes only those that are devoted to him more than me.
    He wished for me to be black and for others to be white indeed I'm so much grateful for that for if He decides or creates there is nothing better than his making.

    The Prophet sullahu alayhi wa salam said ” I was sent to the red and the black . It is known that verily it is not said to the Zanj and to the People of Habasha and the people of Nuba that they are white, nor are they red( pale white) and there is not a name for them except the blacks. And we have learned that verily Allah azzawajal sent the Prophet to all of mankind. And to the Arabs and non Arabs , all of them. And if he said ‘I was sent to the red and the black ‘We don’t have with us red or white he was sent to us . We only have in our time the the saying of the black. And mankind does not come outside of these two names (The Red and The Black) and if the Arabs are from the red then they have entered in the numbers of the people of Rome, the slaves and the people of Faaris and Khorasaan. And if they were from the blacks they have derived for them a name from our names. It is only said to them that they are Adam and brown black so they have entered the same (category) with us in our beauty like how the Arab refer to females and males, masculine (as a group). And if the Prophet, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him knew the Zanj and the people of Habasha and the people of Nuba were not red( pale white) or white and that they are black. Allah the all mighty sent (the Prophet may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) to the black and the red. Then without a doubt he made us and the Arabs the same. And we can be the jet blacks without them. And if the name black falls upon us then we are pure blacks and the Arabs purely resemble us . Therefore we are the first on the list in this call to Islam.

      Slavery was common among all. In Judaism the gentile animals (non Jewish) only purpose is to serve the Jewish. Slavery wasn't race specific or a unusual practice for any empire. Whether they were Pegan, Jewish, Christian, Muslim or black, brown, white. Not only withe Christians but also black Christians like in Abyssinia had slaves. To take Muslims as exclusively unpeacefull is a absolutely distorted way of looking at it. In Islam every human has the sane human value in the eyes of God. The abolition of slavery was something the Ottomans did officially at tge 1900th but practically way earlier. Also the Christians had such discussions when they where ruling in the Roman empire although they never finalized it. To say Muslims are more violent or unpeacefull is absolut fairytale way to look at it.

      I don't know why think it specifically good that Turks were enslaved or are overly enthusiastic about it. Before Turks entered the middle east as conquers the first Turks ever to enter the middle east or Africa came as slaves. Long before the Ottoman empire was a thing. Slavery wasn't race specific or a unusual practice for any empire. Whether they were Pegan, Jewish, Christian, Muslim or black, brown, white. Before the Ottomans conquered to the north these empires had slavery as well. In slavic eastern Europe slavery and furry trade were big sources of income. When the Ottomans came the slave trade rout in the south was cut off and the Ottomans took those. Furry trade was further north. The KievRus and the Zaporozhian Sich had slaves as well by the way. Not only withe Christians but also black Christians like in Abyssinia had slaves.

    • @chronos5090
      @chronos5090 2 года назад

      As a South Slav myself, I can tell you that the word "Slava" means Glory in all Slavic languages. The word Sklave/Sklaven is the Latin/Germanic word for slaves way before the Slavs even came to the Balkans (Balto-Slavic people's inhabited modern day Ukraine, Belarus and Western Russia.) Later expanding and being forced south and west because of the Huns.
      As for Slavery in of itself, the first recorded ban on slavery in Europe was on the 27th of January 1416 in the Ragusan Republic, today's city of Dubrovnik, Croatia. So that's a little fun fact.
