I attended the match. Our journey began in Ghana, as we traveled to Mali, where the game was held in the quaint town of Mopti, located east of Bamako. Nigeria showcased their skills from the start, maintaining a steady lead throughout the game. Crayton was in top form, making remarkable saves. However, the referee made a dubious call, ruling Prince Daye offside despite being correctly positioned. This unfortunate incident took place right in front of us. If James Debbah had been present in Mali, we might have had a better outcome. Unfortunately, Frank Seaton (RIP), our forward, was unable to perform at his best. It was young Jimmy Dixon that Missed kicked the ball which led to Julius Aghahowa goal.
The Liberian goal keeper is the man of the match, they tried, played well...jus the Nigerian players at that level had more experience. Nice work kay valdo
I miss the days of keepers wearing trousers - legendary! I don't know why they stopped. I remember the last keeper in Euro 2016 I saw wearing trousers, the Romanian goalkeeper😂
CDC really need to be serious and the UP need to rescued the Liberian people. Not to just be talking we are looking at all of you people working for 2029
There's one thing I wan to extract from this match. On the 54th minute, Matuidi's tackle on Nigeria's No. 17 player was a RED CARD OFFENCE. It was a career threatening INJURY! Check out FRANCE getting a red card in a match where Super Eagles were holding 0-0....it will definitely be Nigerians day! Officiating has been the HURDLE & TOOL the Referees uses to hinder AFRICAN TEAMS from reaching Finals in the WORLD CUP
@@thebiggameanalyst2084 let's not forget, the pitches weren't that great and it was difficult playing fluid football with the ball bouncing erratically.
World-class liberian keeper.....🎉
Yeah really
Nigeria is famous with good songs of victory, on trumpets and samba 🎺 🥁 🪘🙌🏾☺️🎼
Rest in Heaven, Coach Amodu Shaibu 🇳🇬💔💐
The goal keeper was something else!.. He saved couple of glaring chances.. 👍
The goalkeeper is my man of the match. Simple!
Julius inspired me. I learnt to backflict in 2004 as a 17 yrs old.❤❤
I know not a lot of people like var but Prince Daye was onside either linesman is blind or he just doesn't care. Also nice video ❤❤
yeah, it was definitely onside
Theres also a handball against Liberia,a potential penalty if there's VAR too, both sides were hard done by bad decision but it's understandable

@@khanyisanimkhize4690
Because Nigeria demolished South Africa 4:0. Go to world court and sue him for asking for the video.

and that tacle ended that guy career if not mistaken and i hated matudi till date because after he sent him out nigeria could not play that day
Too many outside 18 shots. Re-watching the old eagles play then you might realize they were not that great.
they weren't great at this tournament, that's for sure
You got to be kidding me!
I agree with you. They lacked tactical awareness/discipline. They couldn't string 10 passes together without someone taking a needless shot.

U no well.....wc of ur teams better reach those great guys...men playing with so much sense
