My nodule was discovered 6 years ago during a hospital visit for something unrelated. It is at the bottom of the right lower lobe. The nodule was 1.1 cm. I have had eight CT scans which show the nodule increasing in size. My most recent scan was 3.8 CM by 1.6 according to the radiologist. But when I met with my pulmonologist after the results she re-measured it in her office and said it was only 2.1 cm and that she would see me in a year for another CT scan. There was a discussion about biopsy but I did have a pet scan and the nodule lit up. I have other comorbidities so I have chosen against biopsy at this time. The pulmonologist said it is most likely a very slow-growing carcinoid, probably still stage 1 something. She said as long as I'm having no symptoms she is not that concerned. 2 years ago when I had the previous scan done it said that I now had a second nodule which was 8 mm caudle to the main nodule. This recent scan said that that nodule had also grown but it did not give the size. I am 70 years old. Smoked for 16 years but quit 42 years ago. My mom had Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. No other cancers in my family that I'm aware of.
53 yr old Female , former smoker and endometrial tumor. Has had active infection of actino. Multiple subsolid to groundglass pulmonary nodules including an 11 mm nodule in the right upper lobe abutting the right minor fissure and two 8 mm nodules in the right lower lobe! New and only see clearly with IV contrast. Thought's??
I’m quite anxious found lung nodule with GGO in upper left lobe, and GGO in right lung. I’m a previous smoker with lung cancer very thick in my family. Just lost my father in Oct 2022 from lung cancer. I’ve been told to repeat CT in 3 months. Still the wait is horrible.
I had my CT scan 2 weeks ago. I have an appointment to see respiratory doctor in 6 days. The wait is the killer. I received the report tonight and reading it and trying to understand it I couldn't sleep. I have multifocal nodular opacities noted at the right upper lobe, including a spiculated lesion measuring up to 18 mm. Mediastinal adenopathy noted. Multiple small and enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes are noted, the largest at the precarinal nodal region measuring up to 15mm. I hope someone who understands this will comment. Thank you.
I'm 22 mins. into the video where you said that the lymph nodes shouldn't be enlarged, and a biopsy is needed right away. Enlarged lymph nodes are not connected to the nodules, and more serious???
They found 4 noddle in my lungs, 2 years ago All around 4mm, I repeated CT every 12 months, noddle still the same size I have shortness of breath 24 hours worse in night time. I can't sleep flat, right side or face down, only on left side Doctors told me everything looks great My ankles start to swollen, I feel my legs very heavy Help! Where I can go to found a good Dr
