you draft an rb in the second round to be the front runner in the rushing game when he is FULLY healthy... why would the panthers rush back brooks this season with how its playing out and with how Hubbard is playing? Hubbard is top 5 in almost every RB stat category. a rookie head coach needs to keep long term assets healthy no matter the outlook of the season. bringing him back early is like throwing him to the wolves and a possible re-injury. brooks has even said in interviews the past couple weeks that he doesn't want to rush back because of how good hubbard is doing saying there's no reason to rush. i doubt brooks has more than a passing down roll this year and he takes over next year after hubbard leaves in free agency.
