This show got everything about feminism right. This isn't about being better than men. It's to see what women can offer regardless and definitely not base on their gender.
Athena is a queen in every step she takes. Hen is a fuckin badass from day one even without her realizing it. Maddie is every inch of a survivor and a fighter.
I also want to mentioned how they humanized and normalized men's emotions and how they tackle their issues. It really let you see in their perspective.
I didn't like Buckley at first bc I thought he was just there to be sexualized but I'm loving his character development. Not to mention the dark past and trauma of Captain Nash, Chimney's fake façade and Eddie's upbringing.
