The time this song came on while me and my best friend were swinging at the park during sunset, it was just us two, everything was still and calm, no people, no cars, and we talked and talked, on the verge of tears, the strangest, yet calmest, feeling washing over our entire bodies. Today is the first day of summer for me. Last summer was one of the hardest summers yet. I lost my dog while I was on vacation, due to a disease in her pancreas. Then I lost my great grandma. I’m listening to this song in the car with my family of four, on our way to see our extended family (18 members total we’ll be seeing). I’m just terrified that something worse might happen this summer. And this song makes me feel a little bit comforted, like my grandma is the moon. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

Man... it's been a month or so since I've been out the psych ward for trying to commit suicide. One of the people, their name was Alex, was in my arts and craft group and they asked to play this song. Now whenever I hear this song it takes me back there and it's oddly comforting. Ik to most people pysch wards are a scary place- but to me it basically felt like a summer sleep away camp where everyone was super mentally ill like you. It's nice to feel like you're not the only "crazy" one.
Edit 1 Year Later: Thanks for all the kind words everyone, I really appreciate it. Luckily I am doing better. It's almost been a year since I've been to the pysch ward and I'm about 6 months free without any major suicidal thoughts. It's crazy not being suicidal though, as for so long I haven't really wanted to be here. I'm doing EMC (Early Middle College, a dual enrollment system) now, and I actually look forward to tomorrow. Recovery is hard, but I'm finally making substantial progress in getting better. To anyone who doesnt have a reason to stay here, remember to just go day by day and try to make healthier choices.

I had a tough day today at school. I *was* tired. I still kind of am. I was calmed as soon as i heard the first few notes. This song makes me want to ball my eyes out, even though people have so many more tramatic experiences in their life that i do. This is the best 2:41 second song. Its a great song to listen to while trying to sleep, studying, crying, venting, pretty much anything. The lyrics is so calming. And the fact that Liana Flores is comforting some random person she has never heard of in her entire life is so faithful. I wish there were more people like Liana Flores in this world. I have memorize this whole song, even though my singing isn't good, even though my voice is not perfect or angelic. I still sing this to my little brother every night secretly, this would be our little secret routine. And once, when the power went out he was scared so he clinged close to me, he still wanted to play despite being tired. And since the power was out and it's dark, he couldn't play anymore so i just hugged him close and sang him this, humming, until he fell asleep on his own. I may not be the perfect older sister my mom wants me to be for him, i may not be the best influence but i'm still willing to spend time and bond with my little brother despite my issues and mental health.

My family found two newborn kittens a couple days ago, one pure white and the other a tuxedo. I hummed this quietly to them the night we took them in while waiting for my dad to bring some kitten formula home. This reminds me of a summer fading into fall night, when me and my freind sat in a tree house and talked while the sun set into a twilight purple. We just talked and watched the stars appear overhead. Such a calm memory, almost like a strangley comforting dream. I'm kinda a therapy person that many people go to. I've come to realize that I can't help with everyone's thoughts thoughts and make everyone happy. It's really comforting at the end, "Breath, breath, breath."

Summer 2021 vibes. I used to get a really calming feeling listening to the "breathe" parts. Revisiting this song nowadays gives me a strong feeling of uncomfortable nostalgia. Maybe because of how much things have changed since then, not all for the better.

@@ewgrossugliegorl7907 everything is going really well actually. I'm 21 weeks now and I had my level 2 ultrasound (to check all his body parts are developing correctly) and everything is great! He's a healthy little boy. I've also been feeling him move every day now, so I play this song when he gets active and he'll just stop moving for a moment like he's listening ♥️

This song is so comforting and her voice is like in ASMR. My Dad died 3 years ago, he was only 55 and memories do come and haunt me but not in a bad way. More like this is all I have left of him and pictures and some videos. It’s so infinite loss and grief. Permanent because I miss my Dad dearly and all that could have been I’ll never know in this lifetime😔💔🌹

I feel like crying. All my life I've been feeling no one is supporting me, until with my besties, Elizia and Zeiden. I feel calm, and happy. My parents just don't understand why I'm happy all of a sudden when I VC with them. This song, however, completes the puzzle. I feel relaxed. And in peace for once in my life.
