Paddington meets Knuckles (Brendan Gleeson), the chef at the prison. Paddington 2 is now in cinemas. Find out more and see more videos: www.comedy.co.uk/film/padding...
"You listen to me, you little maggot: *Nobody* criticises my food, *nobody* squirts _condiments_ on my apron, and *nobody* bonks me on the head with a bagwette! I'll overhaul the menu, all right. Dish of the day: bear pie!"
Paddington and Paddington 2 are criminally underrated. A lot of wholesome family films tend to either be really cheesy and/or boring. But both Paddington films managed to not only be completely wholesome, but also hilarious and really entertaining as well as being really well done. I wish more people gave it a chance.
Well, here are my favorite sequels: (This One):”Paddington 2” “The Dark Knight” “Blade Runner 2049” “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” “The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers” “Toy Story 2” & “How To Train Your Dragon 2”
The best part about this scene is that Brendan Gleeson is talking to a CGI bear and he plays it like he's in a historical drama oscar-bait think piece. Kudos to him.
Everybody in the film treats it as important. None of the actors slum it, and the director, cinematographer, et cetera, give it the best treatment. The scene where Paddington imagines showing Aunt Lucy London via the pop-up book is just fantastic.
@@torg3481Honestly, the best part that the first Paddington made was recasting the original choice for Paddington role from Colin Firth to Ben Whishaw. I love Colin but I can't see his voice fits for Paddington, Ben was a far better choice
Both Paddington films are brilliant, so's the cast!!! You never wanna make Knuckles angry or criticise his food 1:16 Because he'll turn you into a pie 1:32
Then, of course: "Aunt Lucy?! I've had enough to hear of Aunt Lucy! She sounds like a proper old bag to me!" "I beg your pardon?" "I said, your Aunt Lucy sounds like one of the most naive, gullible, mushy-brained..." "What's going on?" "Wh-why are you looking at me like that?" "It's awful hot in here. Are you hot? I'm hot. Did I leave the oven on?" "It's called a hard stare. Aunt Lucy taught me to do them when people had forgotten their manners."
When I first saw both Paddington movies, I legitimately thought that Wes Anderson wrote and directed the movie because literally every aspect of the movie including the cinematography looks like it came from a Wes Anderson movie
Another episode of “Why Is This In My Recommended” Edit: Funny thing, Binging with Babish, some RUclipsr I watch, uploaded a video recreating the marmalade sandwich from this movie!
Good news! The developer said he was commuted to making a 3rd movie. I don’t know if it is true or not, but there is a high possibility that it is true!
I'd heard that this was a good movie and finally got around to watching it today. I didn't expect that the biggest laugh I've had from a movie so far this year would be Brendan Gleeson saying "Marmalade".
Him trying marmalade is like he remembers how his mother use to make it when he was a little kid, I would of loved to see a flashback like that just like Ratatouille.
I love both of these films. But for some odd reason my all time favourite line out of them both is when Knuckles said “AND NOBODY.. hits me on the head with a bagwette.” Hahahaha
I liked when Knuckles got subjected to one of Paddington's hard stares. He totally had it coming when he insulted Aunt Lucy. "It's called a hard stare. Aunt Lucy taught me to do them when people had forgotten their manners."
What makes this scene, and film great is that if the project was handled any other way it wouldn't have been so good. The acting, cinematography and music is perfectly balanced to deliver the comedy.
The best movie I've ever seen. I've watched now both parts again. It brings tears to your ears and let's not forget the last 5mins of part 2. I was in complete tears mate.

I never saw this movie but the cinematography seems very professional for a kids film.
Watch this and the first Paddington. It’s absolutely delightful for all ages.

It's not a kids movie! It's for the family. And Paddington is the best thing ever created. It's fanny, kind and absolutely adorable!

Brendan Gleeson must’ve had an absolute blast playing this part.
This scene looks like a Wes Anderson colour palette!
Also the cinematography is a similar style, with the characters exchanging dialogue looking directly at the camera
