That thing is awesome! Sounds amazing! Scooters are fun. Had a slow Zuma but still had more fun on it than a streetbike. Rolling 45 mph to stop endo's at every stoplight. Scared a ton of people coming by them on my front tire lol.
I wanna know how your buddy cleaned up that scooter so well. I just brought home an 08 black stella and Ive tried a few different polishes but with no luck. The paint is so soft on these scoots.
I bought a 2009 in avocado green brand new. The paint has picked up a few scratches over the years, which was my fault, but it has held up well otherwise. It is non clearcoat paint, which means you can wax it. Black paint is always going to be harder to keep looking good than any other color. I had a choice between black and green, and I picked the green just for that reason. I have 14K miles on it. When the stock engine blows up (they are known for crank failures around 15K miles) a local vintage Vespa shop is going to build me a bulletproof motor for it, and I will probably repaint it while the motor is out. Trying to decide between shiny new paint or patina look paint. Many people have gone to great lengths to preserve the weathered look when restoring vintage Vespas.
Looks great, sounds great. But how do you remove the rear wheel? I have had 3 flats on my 2009 Stella since buying it new, and all 3 were on the rear. I have a stock motor, with a Sito+ exhaust and a rejetted carburetor.
Once I was hiking actually riding a cheap mountain bike up hooker pass in LA and noticed a Stella at the stop light and inquired. Told I rode a p200 20 years early. He told me it's vespa not a vespa. So must a seen him same place etc w note same spectd etc. There still kinda rhummor and lore and yo queso. Quero. Seem beefy. Nice let's get hemp fuel I'm there
Check out The scooter factory on you tube as well, there is an explanation of different exhaust s, as some expansion pipes, can REDUCE power! on standard engines
Vacuum I got fromt he reed valve intake, tapped into the aluminum. In the fuel pump from gas tank out to the carb Inbetween carb and fuel pump as well as Gas tank and fuel pump i put two T-connectors, so I can have a bypass. The bypass was restricted with one of those spark plug terminal nuts. This way, there is no overflow, it just feeds leftover gas back into the pre-pump fuel system. I will eventually do a video on it, this was my first experience with it.
@@ThatScooterThing nice. I was asking that cause I've Installed same collector and similar carburetor on my LML. I've also installed that same pump but without the T pieces (result? The Carter was filled with gasoline. There was so much fuel I could have throw some pasta in it). Actually I don't have no pump and the natural vacuum from the intake is enough to have fuel in the carb... But I think that pump is a way to increment safety to the engine
Top Speed should be an easy 75-80. A very early break in jetting spit out 21hp/7000rpm, but letting off early, I am sure when this bike will get an rpm meter and a little touch up on the jetting it will fly a little more.
Done mine in uk 177 mallossi 60 mill crank 23 t clutch 26 mill t5 carb fast flow bgm fuel tap bgm big box exhaust low down grunt it pulls really well
Ugh, that thing is glorious. Nice work!

with exhausts that exit from the left you have to remove the pipe before taking the wheel off

Hi Sir i want to buy this LML scooter so what can i do for ? In india LML was shutting down
Nice job
Hello. How did you do hoses connections with that mechanical fuel pump?
Vacuum I got fromt he reed valve intake, tapped into the aluminum.
In the fuel pump from gas tank
out to the carb
Inbetween carb and fuel pump as well as Gas tank and fuel pump i put two T-connectors, so I can have a bypass.
The bypass was restricted with one of those spark plug terminal nuts.
This way, there is no overflow, it just feeds leftover gas back into the pre-pump fuel system.

sound 👍
what did you end up getting for top speed and rpm with that? how was the torque?

Do you have a link or any info on that seat
I do not sadly, that seat was custom made.

I noticed that too when I was editing footage, it must be an optical thing happening with the camera, the rear wheel was tested and it was tight!
