What a great tutorial this was. I gave my daughter some hanging macrame pieces for Christmas this year for her apartment. She loved them. I was just thinking how perfect these would go with them. We certainly shouldn't use polyester macrame for this. Using a natural fiber is a must as the lamps would heat and polyester would melt and stick to the glass ruining the piece.

The measures must be wrong. For 40 strings I needed va way bigger glas and now, halfway through I can see the strings are too short 😕
