By the way, if you click on the ship icon with the cross beside it in the main Campaign status report, it lists all the ships that have been sunk on either side.
If you can get under 2400 yards, you can hit them in one turn. Played the mobile version of this for weeks on end, learnt quite a few meta strats/ideas (I.E. where to hit a destroyer to literally one tap it)
Thanks Taff. Should the approach be similar to the Allies strategy, have a sub in every sector to catch the merchants. It could be a bit sticker though as the allies have plenty of aircraft to make short work of any U-Boats near the coasts. It could be expensive to put surface vessels there though...
I'd have surfaced that sub for a turn to chase them down. Might have tempted the Dido back, then you could torpedo it, and do the "Sink/Withdraw" option
If you had been using the crummy Mark 14 torpedo of the US at the time it would take that many. They wouldn't explode just; slowly pummel in the DD hulls like a boxer. Edit: I bet lighter shells are more effected by the wind. It's the same way even with a .22 and a 8mm.
Taff, seriously; you need to replace these surface fleets with U-boats. U-boats have the advantage of stealth; they are cheaper to build and get repaired quicker. Example: you sent a U-boat in with heavy damage for repair and it was repaired in 4 turns. Sending a warship in with heavy damage for repair and the repair can take up to four times longer, which means you are fighting short-handed for longer. That fact will not help you achieve the tonnage you require to sink for a victory. Get rid of those surface fleets and go with 30 U-boats to stand any chance of winning.
If you want DDs to sink with less torpedoes, hit ‘em with 2 at once-I find that 90% of the time that does them in.

The Stuka formula is 8 seconds of flight - Dive three seconds of Dive - Release bombs.Works almost every time!

For the German torps from subs it's near 2900.

Yes another gameplay

Taff made the correct call
Taff is doing well enough to repair all ships with light damage in the same turn no problem
Battle of the Atlantic lest we forget
A good Video again
Gotta go with Subs....flood every major trading route...its the only way.
18:55 "... Of a light class Dido cruiser."
Wow, it's not just the ship's name that get you confused. XD
I joke, we all have days like that.
🇦🇺😭 Australia & Canberra lost together. 🇦🇺

thanks Taff, how are you planning on getting the tonnage up ?
Is it possible in the next recording season to show what ships on each side respectively?
Atleast to show respect to all ships in one way or another.
If I've been harsh in my comments to you previously, I apologise. You seem a nice chap. 👍
But your gunnery is horrible. 😂
How can you interpret a BB increasing speed as slowing down?
