The stupid thing about this series is that in scenes that are supposed to be Ming the men look like Qings! Not all Ming men disguised as Qing to enter the Forbidden City but most of them are seen with the Qing hairstyle of a half bald head and a long braid even in the Oearl and Nibgzu valleys! Ming men wear their hair piled on top of their heads not hanging down their backs!!!!
Anyone who has seen the ending of this series knows it leaves things in limbo! I always said that the two swapped as babies should learn their true identity but it would have been feasible for her to marry Kangxi and become Qing empress and for him to become Ming emperor. His time spent with Kangxi in the palace would bring a respectful liaison between them and peace between their peoples. The fact of the baby swap need never be revealed!!!!
I said Huan should become Qing empress. Kangxi's wife was the one responsible for having Huan injected with that hair thin needle! That fact would be revealed leading to her demise and to Huan taking her place! And remember, Zhu Cuxian has married Quincheng! She would become empress of the Ming!!!!
