I should have made this as soon as the movie was released with subs huhuhu but hey! Better late than never ;)
And because it's 4/24 today, here's Karamatsu and Ichimatsu's interactions throughout the movie for all your fanfiction/fancomic needs! Basically this is the most we can see them in their highschool versions together! Enjoy! :D

The movie pretty much confirmed what we suspected about the relationship between brothers 2 & 4: Ichimatsu understands Karamatsu's true nature better than himself.
Karamatsu "forgot" (or maybe just erased) the memory of 18!Ichimatsu's fake persona and ironically became a try-hard himself who wants to be popular in the present.
Whereas Ichimatsu recognised 18!Karamatsu straight away, and correctly diagnosed Karamatsu's hesitancy in not causing further conflict by bringing up the letter.
As much as I love their dumbass interactions together, its these little moments of character study that showcase the staff's thoughtful writing process.

Even though Ichimatsu is known as the “Emo asshole” or whatever, I know he loves his brothers. He may be a jackass but at least some of him has love for them, and this video proved it. And to be honest, Karamatsu and Ichimatsu’s bond was my favorite pairing throughout the entire show. Even though they, i guess, fight a lot, I know they love each other (as brothers of course!) and it’s nice to see the blue and purple duo. Also, it’s so heartwarming to see them actually getting along. They will, and forever will be, my favorite duo!

@@bruisewort thank you so much for the fic! I just finished reading it, and omg, it was really adorable and a little bit funny ! The person really respect all the characters, espacially with Ichimatsu! And it was so sweet, Ichimatsu wanting Karamatsu to stay happy like he is now 🥺
I really love them, their relationship is really interesting and I hope that we will have a film or one episode who will talk about the two of them, really 🥺🥺😔😔💙💜
IKR??? I've been in this fandom since season 1, yet i was never able to pinpoint which ososan fic is the perfect read for me until i came across this one (asides another iro one, im trash, meep) which has both the concept we needed and the topnotch writing!! i actually want to make a comic out of it one day, but i have other priorities atm ;^^

@@bruisewort (nah nah, you are not a trash) i've been in the fandom since season one too, and yes it's actually pretty difficult to find some good fic in (in french, actually, about iro, and no i am not weird) and I think it will be difficult to find something that is so adorable in english like this one (i will never thank you enough to make me discover this fiction). Actually, I really want to see your comics one day (and to contribute to the fanbase too with some fanart and stuff)
