Yes found Eskandar for the first time at my thrift store ! wasn’t really familiar with the brand ! But I went on eBay and 😵 ! I paid $4 and sold it for $425 😭😭😱 it was 100% Cashmere !
Ashley this was a great video. I love that you do random searches before falling asleep. I have one request - adding an image of the label would be super helpful. That way when out sourcing I have the name and the image in my head. I love your channel. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me to find new homes for awesome stuff!
Vintage Ralph Lauren especially “sportsman”. I picked up a women’s cardigan for $3 at a yard sale in August and it sold this week for $375.00. Comps on them are very very good.
I want to see more videos like this because you ever get that feeling, when you can't find nothing, that feeling that says I know there's something here probably worth a lot of money but I just don't know what it is.
Stay at home dad of 3 here (my youngest just started preschool part time) - with a wife who travels a TON for work. I’ve been reselling now for only about 5 or so months and it’s going well! Always trying to learn more and your vids are chock-full of great info! Took a lot of notes! Thanks for the great content. Looking forward to more :)
I found a photo printer, brand new in the box for $8 at a church sale for $8 and it sold for $150. A Vineyard Vines dress, NWT for $10 that sold for $90. Eileen Fisher silk pants for $50 that I got for $1. J crew cashmere sweater sold for $49 that I got for free. Oh a Brooks Brothers wool man's full length coat for $1 that sold for $110. Those are all I can think of right now. Good info, thanks!
It’s great to have these kind of videos out because we all learn our lessons. I had one of those Levi coats with the capital E logo wool lined and I sold it for $65! I paid $4! I know!!! I cried when I found out how much I under sold it for! I was a newbie! I knew it was special and thought I did the proper research at the time. Keep spreading your knowledge and be YOU!
I buy and sell Patagonia all the time. I also wear it. I live in a cold weather state, so I find Patagonia fairly frequently. I have also sold a vintage Schott leather jacket before. If you do another video like this, one brand I have done real well with is Moncler. Check out comps for that brand. Some items go for over $1,000. Thanks for another great video Ashley! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Vintage Vanson leather jackets are another one! I found one in the bins. Nobody else was even looking at it I assume because it looked pretty beat up. It was way heavy (like 7 pounds). It sold fast and went internationally. I priced it high and took an offer of I think $399 plus shipping.
Several years ago I found about 5 pairs of alligator men's shoes at Goodwill. They were basically brand new and it wasn't a super wealthy area I lived in. I still wonder who had them and why they would get rid of them in basically new condition. I hesitated to get them because they were marked at $20 a pair. I ended up making over $1500 total profit on those and it was very needed as I was a single Mom and struggling with money at the time.
Alligator shoes like Gucci and Ralph Lauren ? Sorry for asking I’m new to all this, would any other alligator shoes be worth that much if it’s not those brands ?
I once found a Ministry of Supply M65 Field Jacket. I had never heard of it, but it looked really nice, plus it was at a $5 fill a bag sale, so I threw it in there. After a bit of research, I listed it for $250 and I had an offer for $200 within minutes. Since I'd paid less than a dollar for it, accepted and sold.
I find most of these brands at the bins. I have found a Hermes cashmere scarf, shirts and ties. I find Eskandar pieces in the bins fairly often, but my best finds in the bins have been vintage Chanel blouses and Fear Of God jeans.
I've sold a Rolex box before too! My favorite find was a Victoria Beckham dress inside a travel wardrobe bag. I had NO idea it was in there when I won it in an auction lot. I paid $30 for the lot. Sold the dress for $750! Cha-ching! I love this business!
How funny that you mention escandar! I went to the bins today and found an escandar linen blouse! You’re right-it does not look like anything special I just remembered, that I heart streetsavvy talking about it!
My best sale was a St. John evening two piece. Bought for $6 and sold for $250 within a week! Sold an Elie Tahari leather jacket for $80 and a vtg Crabtree&Evelyn men’s cologne for $125.
a new with tags Givenchy sweatshirt- I have never heard or seen of it -live in a rural area so why it was here I don't know it retailed for $1300 new I sold for $400 maybe low but I paid $4 lol
If i had sold that Hermes Tie for $12k I would catch the next flight ✈️ out to customers destination and hand deliver it personally! With all that profit I would not risk shipping it in the mail!
I would be more nervous 😬 that of the small risk of it getting lost in the mail. That has happened to me before with an average of one ebay package a year of usps loosing it. And having to claim payment from insurance.
Thanks! Great finds. My largest find so far was a MCM Mirro Medallion Aluminum candy dish, bought at GW for $1.49 and sold for $90. I saw it liked it and picked it up and saw Mirro on bottom and put it back on shelf and started to walk off. But I did really like it so picked it back up and looked up comps, going for $125. I could have held out for more but wanted to sell it quick while MCM still popular.
Peruvian Connection & Eskandar are my favorite to sell! Especially love the handmade/handloomed element of these brands. Thanks for making this video! ☺️
I once found a Ralph Lauren Casino Royale red button down shirt at a flea market for five dollars. It was literally in mint condition. I almost listed it for $39 and something told me to look it up and there was one listed for over $1000 so I listed mine for $800 and excepted an offer for $600 24 hours later. It really pays to look your items up before listing. This taught me to also be very picky about what I pick up because you exert so much less energy holding out for the good finds then picking up a bunch of $15-$10 items.
Thank you for sharing!! 😍 some new brands to look out for!! A few years ago I found a Eskandar silk blouse for 5.00 and it sold in a few days for 400.00!! 😍 🎉 btw I loooove looking up high end completed listings! So much fun.
I had a Seawheeze Lululemon tank I paid $4 in my “to list” pile. I only knew what it was because of you 💕 Thank you for your generosity with information!
I loved this video!! Thank you 😊. This is how iv absolutely learned about new brands to sell by watching other sellers videos. I had actually learned about Peruvian connection from watching one of streetsavvy's videos and whenn I saw it at a thrift I knew to get it. Love your videos
I no joke was just looking up these kinds of things on google earlier 😂 thank you so much for this video. I swear you get more boxes every time I watch your videos. You’re the best.
Great info - i missed this one... Thx for sharing! Three fun finds: vintage Ice bats hockey jersey, Claude Montana pour Ideal Cuir vintage 80s leather jacket, and a full rack of new clearance NFL beanies.
Thanks for the tips, really enjoyed this video. Definitely gave me some more brands to add to my list for when we go to thrift stores. The biggest find and sale my wife and I have ever had on eBay was an authentic Ralph Lauren Snow Beach jacket, we were so excited, bought it at Savers for $12 and sold it for around $1200. Again, thanks for posting this video and all your others as well, you're much appreciated.
I just started thrifting, but the other day I found a blazer that I thought felt expensive. I looked it up and it was originally over $1,000 retail. I found a comp for $150. Definitely not as high as some of yours but I was super excited about it!
I know you made this video a few years ago, but I'm so glad it popped up in my feed!!! I'm a newer reseller and these brand tips are so amazing. I will probably watch it again with my pen and notebook in hand :) Thanks
My best clothing flip...paid $4 at a church sale for a Kiton Italian suit. Excellent Condition. Took a couple of months to sell for $690. They're handmade in Naples (Napoli) starting at $5000 up to $60,000. Their $60,000 suit is #6 on a top 10 list of most expensive suits. Was found at 3pm in the afternoon along with a Hickey Freeman also for $4 that I sold for $170. Felt really bad about the buy, so made an extra donation to the fundraiser. I enjoy your videos and love that you can stay at home with your boys. From a former stay at home mom, now grandma that took up reselling less than two years ago - Continued success!
Awesome video!! I feel special I found one of the items you mentioned haha. It was the Patagonia sherpa jacket. Mine was red and beige colored. I swear, it was in excellent condition. I did check comps, ended up listing at $150, probably underpriced. Sold to a guy in Japan within minutes of listing. I was super happy! I only paid $10. It definitely made my day though.
I actually just found an Hermes scarf for $2 at my local Goodwill! The day after I hit up another Goodwill and lucked into an Hermes tie for $2 too...I've never found Hermes in the wild before, so I was pretty dang excited!
Love your high end brand names to look out for videos! I found Gucci pants last week and some Freda Salvador New! I need a college reseller friend!!!!!!!
Wow I sold a vintage Patagonia men’s in black. I got it at the bins. It sold it in one day for $40. Now I know why it sold so fast. I way under priced it. Thank you so much for bringing this to all our attention. I am going to try much harder to do better, more research. I actually love researching. I love clothes! Thanks again, Leslye
I am by no means a professional reseller, but I do like to do it for fun. In 2020 I bought a vintage He-man castle for $14. I didn't know anything about it, but figured I could make my money back and use it as a learning experience. It was missing a lot of pieces, but was in good shape. I ended up getting $600 plus shipping for it.
Be on the lookout for Howler Brothers Gaucho shirts. I found one at a thrift for $3 and sold it on eBay for $380. The one I found was a special edition made for Yeti but all of them can be worth hundreds.
I just started selling things around my house before I start Spending my own money at goodwill easy way to get rid of stuff and it tends to bring more money in then a yard sale. I’ve found some brand new picture frames from Costco at a yard sale this weekend bought all of them and returned them to Costco easy $150. A 1980s 49ers jacket bought at goodwill for $35.00 sold within 175.00 within a day. Just started 1 week ago and already started turning a profit and with all this knowledge I hope to start paying for vacations with eBay money !!! Thanks
Vintage Michael Hoban Women's Leather dress and matching Jacket was a $2 pick and sold for $300 in 2 hours! I also sold a Rolex box with all of the paperwork and the holographic tag! I was amazed how fast it sold! Thanks for the videos, they have helped me so much!
oh wow=just listed my very traveled schott jacket-jokingly for $999 taking $555 was the runner of the Baron' in Salt lake City back in the 70's-now womdering if I should pass it on to my grandkids
Love your videos, especially this one, love learning new brands. Off the topic, I was watching this video with my girls ( they are close to your boys are) and my older one says: mommy, she is so pretty 😊😍🌺
I had 2 decent $1 finds... One was a limited edition Duvel Tulip beer glass, found it on the bottom shelf at Goodwill for .99... sold it in 2 days for $90... another was a railroad employee issued oil lantern (not old only about 13 years) new in the box he never touched it, paid $1 and it just sold for $150. So nothing in the 4 digit area but awesome and fun none the less! I love doing this for those reasons always exciting and fun!
I have 3 Hermès ties in my death pile. I got them from an estate sale so I had to pay up for them. They were $40 each. I purposely chose the ones that had bold memorable prints. I left the basic ones.
This video was very helpful in gaining even more higher end product knowledge n inspiration to find these treasures, like winning the lottery! I had only heard of one of the brands before. Thank you! Always take away something from your videos!
What a great video - thank you! I am always amazed at how much random things sell for! I esp. liked the clothing tips - great info. Adding these to my BOLO list :-)
Best find I ever found was at a flea market here back, when flea markets were so much better a Neo Geo Game system for $25 with a couple games as well. All I needed was an power converter to switch it to a NTSC game system which cost me about $8 at the Radio Shack. This was about 15 to 20 years ago. I ended up selling it for about $400 US and the games I sold separately for another $300 US. I was also got a chance to go to a private yard sale at someone's home one time about 20 years ago. He was moving about 500 kms away and couldn't take much wish him. For $50 I was able to take whatever I wanted in video game stuff. I filled up a car with stuff and came out of it with 1000s of dollars worth of stuff and mad a small fortune. I wish I could find deals like that again in the near future.
I found a vintage women's Versace windbreaker at a Goodwill and paid $6 for it. The next week I found a Versace women's top for $4. at the same store. I saw another person I knew to be a reseller go through the same rack but she missed it. They both sold pretty quickly for good money.
The thing about those sealed ps1 games is that they are professionally graded, that's what commands that high of a price. It's a new trend in retro gaming to get sealed games graded, kind of like comic books or sports cards.
I found an Hermès scarf larger size at the goodwill bins paid maybe 50 cents for it had it authenticated and it’s the real deal it’s the Regina design not sure if I want to part with it yet 😊
I found a men tie and two women scarves Hermès all under $5 where do u get them authenticated? And got a Gucci Men jogger can’t list them until I make sure they re the real deal.
I’m such a ditz- I sold one of those deep pile Patagonia jackets for 70$ and it sold in minutes. I thought that because the condition wasn’t as good there was no way anyone would buy it. My mistake and lesson learned.
Probably by another reseller, any Patagonia that’s made in the USA is valuable, I sold one last year for $245 and realized later I could’ve gotten double, because of the year and color.
Yes found Eskandar for the first time at my thrift store ! wasn’t really familiar with the brand ! But I went on eBay and 😵 ! I paid $4 and sold it for $425 😭😭😱 it was 100% Cashmere !
Karen Villegas yaaasss!! Amazing!!
Wow! Sweet!
I found an Eskander sweater but left it because it had two small holes. I could have repaired them🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
Congratulations!

Yes, I was going to make the same suggestion! 😊
Vintage Ralph Lauren especially “sportsman”. I picked up a women’s cardigan for $3 at a yard sale in August and it sold this week for $375.00. Comps on them are very very good.
Kalli Widger good to know because I always pass on Ralph Lauren
Kalli Widger well done you that’s absolutely wonderful 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Curious, what color label? How do you know it's vintage? I need to find a source to see tags and and vintage tags and learn how to recognize.
Kalli Widger wow
OMG! Thank god I saw this! I was just about to list a vintage Polo messenger bag for 30$ on Poshmark!!!! (worth 1-200)

Forrenzo A.R That’s why you insure the hell out it, and don’t use USPS probably

i agree it seems cool to find vintage things and then sell them to collectors or someone who definitely appreciates that brand or art!
Peruvian Connection & Eskandar are my favorite to sell! Especially love the handmade/handloomed element of these brands.
Thanks for making this video! ☺️
Teach to Thrift. I watch your channel too. I’m a teacher as well. You find amazing stuff.
I have made over 250 dollars selling used board games and components on eBay!

5 years ago I bought a beautiful Escandar sweater on eBay for $95. I guess I can resell it for $400. It’s still gorgeous and a great investment.
I have an Hermes tie! Picked it up 4 years ago. Never got around to listing it. Thank you for this educational video...from Grandma Bunny in Arizona.

Leggs in your death pile? What’s in your good pile??!
The ps1 video games you showed were graded thats why they sold in the thousands, Resident evil directors cut goes for 600 sealed
This video was very helpful in gaining even more higher end product knowledge n inspiration to find these treasures, like winning the lottery! I had only heard of one of the brands before. Thank you! Always take away something from your videos!
Thank you! I love learning about new brands!! Inspiring!
Hiya Ashley, Schott has a warehouse sale but you can’t buy online so if you’re planning a visit to N.Y. might be worth signing up for their emails. (Other option is I do personal shopping for people but charge a fee, I hope you know if I could not charge, I would... for you!) I’ve got my Schott “Perfecto” MC since the late 70s-early 80s & will never part w/ it (we ride vtg Triumph’s, trying to sell a vtg Norton Commando- fun fact: “The Wild One” w/ Marlon Brando they rode British motorbikes, *not* Harley’s, they were *the* bike to have, so pretty even the new repro Bonnevilles- vtg model we have), paid $25 secondhand which was still a good price even back then. Have a few big “E” Levi’s pieces, a newsboy style hat from the 60s & a pair of jeans either 30s or 50s (selvedge), need more research before I sell. Be careful, recently they resurrected the big “E” & unethical sellers are trying to pass off as vtg😡. Have a 3-D Harley tank from the 80s but too many memories attached & I still wear it! Oh & btw, some vtg tees are indeed double stitched! I have limited ed printed tees from when I had my B&M shop that I purchased when I opened in 96 & they have the ©️ date on them. I have others in my collection that are double stitched & vintage 90s w/ ©️ date. In the U.K. or Europe you’ll still find new tees single stitched, so you really need to know your tees! I’m pretty sure we have “Resident Evil” game, might have to see if it’s worth selling, thanks for that info! Have a lovely week! Jet 🧡🎸🎶⚡️🦇🦇🦇
Found a Sundance silk embroidered shirt, Hanro silk pj set and Double D ranch shirt today!! How fun
I should look up random sold/comps as well. ☺️

What a great video - thank you! I am always amazed at how much random things sell for! I esp. liked the clothing tips - great info. Adding these to my BOLO list :-)
Very interesting - always great to see you / and learn.
These are fun to see!! Thanks!
So deeply appreciating your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you so so much I’m learning great stuff from you!
Great video! I love finding Misook. 100% acrylic old lady misook 🤑
One time I did found a Vince dress an I sold for 65 dollar and pay $3. For that dress 😁👊🏻
Best BOLO video I've seen in a long time. Thank you for sharing!
Great video thanks. Citizens of humanity jeans do really well too
Really great video. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, I had no idea about these high ticket items and brands, thanks for sharing!
I found a vintage women's Versace windbreaker at a Goodwill and paid $6 for it. The next week I found a Versace women's top for $4. at the same store. I saw another person I knew to be a reseller go through the same rack but she missed it. They both sold pretty quickly for good money.
I found the Free People zipper cuff at the bins! I knew the comps but I got impatient....and sold it for too low...
The thing about those sealed ps1 games is that they are professionally graded, that's what commands that high of a price. It's a new trend in retro gaming to get sealed games graded, kind of like comic books or sports cards.
I do the same. Scrolling sold items. Even when I am not selling.
Thank you for this great information Ashley! Happy thanksgiving!
I found an Hermès scarf larger size at the goodwill bins paid maybe 50 cents for it had it authenticated and it’s the real deal it’s the Regina design not sure if I want to part with it yet 😊
Wow!!! That is amazing!
I found a men tie and two women scarves Hermès all under $5 where do u get them authenticated?
And got a Gucci Men jogger can’t list them until I make sure they re the real deal.
TheDodicat authenticationfirst.com I used it because Courtney (common tags on RUclips) has a promotional code and it’s done online
TheDodicat sorry it’s authenticatefirst.com
also Langlitz leather jackets made in Oregon vintage go really high I have never found one
I’m such a ditz- I sold one of those deep pile Patagonia jackets for 70$ and it sold in minutes. I thought that because the condition wasn’t as good there was no way anyone would buy it. My mistake and lesson learned.
Miss Mollusk oh bummer! Don’t worry, we’ve all been there!! 😅🥰
Probably by another reseller, any Patagonia that’s made in the USA is valuable, I sold one last year for $245 and realized later I could’ve gotten double, because of the year and color.
