She'd had a feeling that Christmas eve, and, well, Christmas in general with this man, would be super (pun totally intended) goofy and chaotic. So she went into this adventure with a smirk on her lips and a quirk to her brow.
Putting together a snow globe was such fun! Even better that she could foil his instruction giving for that, and still make one that surprised him.~ Also his laugh was way too cute-
The little figurine of her love in that outfit was a nice touch.
He had made no mistake about the figurines, she knew he was too skilled for that~
Hanging the snow globe was actually fun. Especially his sigh at her passing this 'trial.' She knew very well this ornament would be her new favorite after all.
Ooh paralytics in the cookies? Didn't mind if she did~ she knew he had most probably poisoned the cookies, she knew by now when he wasnt bluffing~ that or the poisons had overridden each other, but that was less fun.
And hot chocolate? Yes please! And yes she'd chugged it. It was Hot. CHOCOLATE.
She knew he probably had poisoned the Hot chocolate either~ but she had to mess with him. So yes. She loved her husband so much that her body did in fact atomize poison~
And then, after all that, when he realized his switch up of the boxes, the vulnerability that came out, the care, and concern for his betrothed, changed her smirk to a genuine smile. "Yes, the color is perfect... and the length just right..." she replied to his asking, smiling at the ribbon. It was such a simple thing, but it held such meaning.
And the letter was absolutely beautiful..
She loved it.
In the control rool/bedroom, she grinned slightly as the evening came to the climax! She knew exactly who she was looking at~ villain or not.
"I'm not risking infidelity dear~" she murmured before kissing him beneath the mistletoe.
"Thank you~" he said. "for what?" She replied with a laugh. "For saving me from myself~" he said and she smiled. 'I'll always save you.' She thought, giggling with him a bit as he reminisced about their past.
The fact he took notes was so precious- him and his plans. However small they may be, she always loved seeing him perk up when he spoke about them.
"Are you _sure_ those figurines weren't supposed to match up?~" she asked teasingly. He protested, but then he grinned. "I know what caused that happy little accident..." he said, his eyes going half lidded as he leaned closer. *_"You're in my head~"_* he murmured, her cheeks heating up in response. Gosh DANGIT this MAN-
She smirked though as she had an idea, having him lift his head and ever so tenderly tieing the beautiful ribbon he'd given her around _his_ neck...~
He of course, blushed, and she simply nodded at his asking if he was a good gift. "The best." She confirmed. "Thank you for choosing me..." he murmured, smiling. "I'm not to arrogant to say I knew this would happen, but I am glad it did..." he added, before leaning in close again.
"Now, which one of me do you want? Your criminal mastermind? Or your sappy, dorky, husband?" He asked, grinning slightly, said grin widening at her response. "I want my criminal husband~"
He chuckled that one chuckle that always sent shivers down her spine and butterflies fluttering in her stomach. "Greedy~" he said, an almost sheepish grin on her face as she blushed. "Good thing I can manage that~" he said, before turning the antics back on and saying, "Enjoy~"
"No need for personal reparations- right..?" He asked, slipping back into his persona.
She grinned, reached up with one finger, and ripped it from around his throat while saying "No.~"
"Uh oh-" he said,
and she laughed.~

But the little role play at the end there where the script goes back into the villain character- and the little "uh oh-" after the rip (that was most definitely the ribbon being torn) signifying that the listener had unwrapped her gift? that was simultaneously so cute and so 'hehehe I know what's happening _next~'_ that I'm asking myself, WHY AM I LIKE THIS

Mittelus is such an amazing author, I read this script and I was just immediately like "I have to do this, this is going to be so much freaking fun" so I'm thrilled everyone enjoyed it!
