Thank you for the update! That is coming along nicely. I see you are using the wooden backer to help hold the piece. Is the ivory held on to the wood with pressure or did you use some sort of adhesive?

Thank you J Loc! I drilled and set two dowels into the little board that fit quite snugly. Seemed to do the trick.

So blown away. Do you ever get bad hand cramps working on intricate pieces? If so are there anything tips to prevent it? Sorry if that's a dumb question

Thank you so much Douglas! I don’t seem to get cramps too much but when I do I try to stretch the muscles out. What l do have that’s a pain is arthritis in my lower thumb joints. I’m going to try copper bracelets for that. I tried the copper infused compression gloves which seemed to help but were too slippery to hold my tools.

My brother used to use some kind of hemp lotion (no it doesn't make you high or if you take drug tests for operating semis or school bus it doesn't show you have dugs in your system), but he stopped using it because you can grow immune to it and it no longer works. There is another lotion you can use for arthritis, but you have to be careful using Tylenol or any acetaminophen because it is in the lotion.
