You're the best teacher on youtube par none! You get to the point quickly, no bla bla talking, and yet the pace is not too fast. Thanks Sandy!

Great tips … I find myself constantly trying to get better at many of these. Playing across the bar line is huge … as is not starting a line on the 1👍😁. I see you’re up to 102k already - the vids are looking great - nice light accents, …and, of course, your smile 😁.

Thanks so much! I'm always struggling with the light, but I'm getting better at having a more natural skin tone. Color grading is not my forte 😁.

Yes, we're all good. Have to do more blood tests in March to find out what's going on, but I'm ok ☺️.

Some things are neglected by a lot of players, so I try to emphasize the important stuff like phrasing.

Outstanding Sandra, many years ago I had a teacher that required me to play my scales in between the beats of a metronome. With practice I am able to play on or off the beat and that influences my solo playing.

And I'm happy to see you have not ditched your D'Addario mini. After your video on it, I started looking for it online and also seemed to notice that you weren't playing it much. I was curious about a couple of things, which perhaps you could answer. Do you find it top heavy, as a couple of people have, who complained online. How much does it weigh? (I sent the company an email, twice, but never received an answer.)

Oh yes, I actually use it the most at home, for teaching and practicing. It's so good for my wrecked shoulders. It has become my Nr 1 guitar to play. For biceps I try to use more archtops for sound and jazz aestethics.

@GuitarversumSandraSherman thanks. I checked them out for price. Wanted to know if I could ever afford one. You make everything sound so good. I know it is not gear, but you bring affordable to the forefront. Your video on affordable Jazz boxes as usual was great.

Not seeing why my name is not showing up. The guitar seems to be what I thought a D'Angelico pretty but toned down a bit.

@GuitarversumSandraSherman not in your video, but in the comment section, I am identified as a number. Just a pet peeve of mine( being a number. Your videos are great, You are a teaching 🌟!

HI Sandra---- you are an excellent guitarist and teacher! BUT---- the Band In A Box backing track bass sound totally sucks. I hate to be critical, but it really hurts your sound. There's so many better backing tracks available with great bass. Even IRealPro is much better.

I have iReal on my phone for quick srudents stuff. But ut sounds so cheesy. Not sure why you don't like the RealTracks by BIAB that are played by real musicians and prefer the cheesy Midi sound from iReal Pro. To each their own, I suppose 😊
