Hi. Thank you very much for this video. Could you write down a list of all extra tools that we need to succeed this additional process? Pleas answer this message with it. I’ll really appreciate it
I need to do new video on this as iOS 17.4 needs few more steps. Anyway in general for iPhone battery replacements you need : Programmer , spot welder, battery tag flex , the black adhesive to cover the board , battery adhesive and display adhesive to close the iPhone. Now this will include PC to reset the iPhone . Oh and arm yourself with patience
Any clue why iphone se2020 still reads old battery data after programming. JCID V1s reads 100% and original battery, but when i connect it to iphone it still reads old data.
@@BalkansWay Yes, same as when programming higher models 👍. It is a bit strange that you have to install small flat cable into higher models and this one not.
@@stankotomasic9867 well yeah its strange but I prefer not to need any additional tools to change a battery . All this is pointlessly confusing already.
hi, can u share the link of ur JCID i have the same problem with SE 2 BAT so i tested on icopy but nothing run good, i search exaclty the same of u please : so many JCID dosen't have SE2 id with iphone 11 and i woud like to be sure
Hello my friend , i don’t use iCopy because i feel the JCID is upgradable . If you already have the JCID programmer you can just buy the battery board attachment. Usuals i don’t advertise were to buy or from who but i got my board from Aliexpress as it was easier to get . So please go there I’m sure you will find exactly you need :)
I haven’t had the chance to open SE 2022 , but i think the battery will fit the SE 2020 ( important battery message will appear 100%) but I’m sure you can’t use SE 2020 battery in SE 2022
Good afternoon. I encountered such a problem and now I’m thinking about it and want to solve it, please help me with advice. I replaced the battery on the iPhone se 2020 with the transfer of the controller, reset the cycles and capacity on the jsid programmer, but after installation this battery is identified as not native 😢 ios 17.0.1. I tried all sorts of manipulations, but the dash in the volume on the phone does not determine who it belongs to. Thank you
Thats an oddly strange issue. If you can try to boot up the iPhone with non genuine battery to trigger the error message, then put back the original one and boot it again .
From iPhone 11 and up you will need the battery tag flex . The good part is that they are re-usable, you just need to boot the phone once with the flex still attached
@@BalkansWay this is not in fact true, eventually it does reset. The tag-on flex is not reuseable. You do in fact need to leave the tag on flex installed, connected to the battery.
@@Talmiior you are very wrong my friend battery health wont fix itself , whit what i have and all the batteries i have replaced if i had to leave the tags in the phone i would be broke by now.
@@BalkansWay I have read it from official sources, and have seen youtube videos that have shown it switch back on them afterwards. You NEED to leave the tag-on flex connected to the battery inside the phone. Unless of course there is some new tag-on flex that has changed that. What brand are you using?
@@Talmiior ive been doing this for quite awhile, and i never left the tag inside the phone after the first boot . Hi, very good video, i have some questions, what version of icopy is needed for iphone se 2020 swap battery? In an other video here on youtube i seen that is necessary to install a new connector between the battery and the connector of the motherboard, this new connector is usefull to set the cycle to 0 maybe
Hello, im using the JC programmer for this model you just need to transfer the original BMS to the new battery. Via the programmer you can recalibrate the battery and no additional flex is needed
That programmer also has a copy battery data function, can that be used to copy the serial from one BMS to another (OEM batter), thus, removing the warning?
Sadly no , without the original BMS the annoying message stays and battery health will be disabled. At least that happened when i tried to just copy the battery data
Can you give a link for the battery board? I have a JC V1SE but I need to get the battery board for the SE 2 battery. I keep seeing two different boards. Are there different boards? Thanks for the video.
Thank you for your comment and liking the video. The board i have is for models 6-12 and i got it from Aliexpress for 17.5 USD , maybe you see two versions as there should be newer version for the 13 and 14 models . Just look it up on Aliexpress, I’m sure you can find it there . If you still cant find it hit me up with mail and ill provide you with link .
If you are looking for original battery only Apple can sell you original battery. Usually you can buy aftermarket battery and as shown in my video you can use the bms board
@@BalkansWay maybe the overall price of everything, materials plus work time and skills included. Maybe the person asking wants to know if this is worth the effort or just buy another phone.
@@manuelrivera6778 well if someone wants to start all this is pricey. Programmer + spot welder is like 120-140 USD , the new battery is 16-18 usd . If needed i can make video about all this . Just let me know
Did you move the BMS of the old battery to the new ? Also the screen has two cables that can be damaged when opening maybe thats why you don’t have touch ID . Usually all this is not easy as it seems it just takes more patience

Important step is to place other battery to trigger the non genuine message.this way the phone will “forget” how much the battery capacity was .

hi, do you need the tag on for iPhone SE 2020?
Tag is not needed for SE2 , you can directly program / reset the cycles and battery health
Will it show same battery serial number after doing this process in 3u tools?
Yep , it’s basically the original electronic from the battery so everything will show up as the original.
So with the change in BMS....the after market batteries will be shown with the same original serial number just as the original battery?
