OMG, a 9 miler? That's pretty much a standard yearly test for all arms in the UK.
Goaty McGoatins our Marines do 30 milers, but then again Brits are all about quality warriors. Americans are about bells and whistles.
Yup. I class US marines at a similar standard to British infantry. They aren't at the level with RMs. When I was serving, 8 miles with 25kg as a cft plus the bits at the end was not much of a challenge. Sore feet sometimes but even the fat lads made it round the course and could keep up with the squad.
+mark blizzard the royal Marines have their own ships like HMS ocean , hovercraft and helicopter support , they also have their own artillery 29 commando in the citadel in Plymouth and they have their own support unit called commando logistics
Thats not so tough, most Brits are doing it after a full night of drinking and kabab eating.

Its a shame that no matter what, these types of videos will always get some sexist men commenting about how easy this trash is. When i was in which was pretty recent, i graduated june 15, we did our crucible with the males. We did all the events and most obstacles with them. They got in OUR way. During that event especially with the saving private ryan shit playing?? Oh yeah. Our drill instructors told us to crawl over them because they were moving so slow. I dont wanna hear any male that hasnt gone through this say shit about us female marines. Its a struggle for the men too.
Actually served did it it a couple times over repeatedly 9 miles a cake walk did over and more so yeah I get to say to me that's a cake walk
They low crawl in the daylight across a dry field with a soundtrack??? 9 mile ruck???
In Infantry OSUT in fort Benning we low crawled through 150 meters of mud and C- wire in the dark with live SAWs M240s and 50 cals being shot over our heads!!! Followed up by a 16 mile truck Where we not only carried our weapons, ammo and rucks but also logs and 5 gallon water jugs the last three miles of the truck was in a river marching up stream before we got the honor of having our blood rifles beat into our chests like true infantrymen. Where were our camera crews lol?

You get sent to a strength and conditioning platoon and get held back for like another month.
The crucible is a joke. Real boot camp is behind closed doors when no cameras or officers are watching.

You've got to be kidding me!!. The Male Version is *ALOT HARDER, DEMANDING & CHALLENGING* - the Female Version is a walk in the park, barely break a sweat version for their Counterparts.. I thought in the US Marines, the Males & Females get the exact same level of training? Looks like they don't..

@@almighty_salt9648until I see videos of these females lifting other female teammates then I'll agree with you but they said in the video that they have their own crucible aka a weaker female version many female soldiers said on camera that the men are faster and can lift and carry the equipment easier even female Colonel's have said it's harder for women ...... Do some research first please before you try n call some a women abuser just to make you're point look correct over his smh you look pathetic defend women with facts not insults at others if the females were just as good why not mix them with the men ?? Can they not carry their wounded male soldiers ??? Can they not keep up with their male soldiers during Marches?

lets be honest: of females can make it , it means two things: 1) the standards are lowered because we all know females have less power than males (this is a fact) or 2) they only raised the standards for females but then what does it mean to be a marine in the end? Nothing! Look, elite units are elite units because of what they can do and are, but if you either lower the standards for females or for everyone, you are not elite anymore.
Females should be able to join, but only if the same levels keep standing! So a male has to do (just an example) 5 pull ups to pass, so should a female. Do not change the standards! This is just stupid.
You sound ignorant as hell...I know some women including myself, who can run laps around a man...and I don't mean actually running...

antonio branch did you know it’s going to be integrated down to the platoon level in less than 5 years? That’s right, the men will train just along side the women. Current Marines don’t care, hell, most older Marines don’t either. Most of the sexism is from those who didnt serve, but ya know.

Inferior physical constitution, bad for morale to see women killed, temptation leading to dereliction of duty, men feeling they have a duty to protect the women as opposed to their actual mission etc.
It's a stupid idea and the only reason it is implemented is because we can't find enough recruits. Largely because we fight in too many Middle Eastern 'conflicts' abroad which people know are morally indefensible.
Change the policy there instead.
The US has an extremely high recruitment rate even without woman.
