Lilac, vibrant pink, and purple black are all such great colors. 💜 I still need to find a vibrant pink but I have the other two. Thanks for the comparison!
My jaw dropped when you presented the Magellan. I too have resolved to not collect all the new colors each year, whether it be LAMY, TWSBI, or even Pelikan. I’ve refused so many new or special editions, opting for a broadened nib experience in “higher-end” pens. I’ve yet to find that treasured vintage pen. Thank you so much for sharing! Oh, by the way, I just received my sample of Antelope Canyon yesterday because I saw it in you ink swatch flip!
Thanks, Marcy! It was a great find, for sure. I'm actually thinking about selling the hoard of TWSBIs and AL Stars I've accumulated over the years...whether I take action is another story. Antelope Canyon...it is pretty. Not exactly the right orange for me. I'm so, SO picky! Not sure what my brain has against sheeners & shimmerers...just give me a good shader! :p (some colors are just tough to find the right note!)...and I'm fearful that the big bottle of DomInd Earl Gray Tea is looking a bit too bright for me... it'll be the next orange I load. Hope all is well down in TX! Seeing some beautiful blooms posted online! (We still have snow here.)
@@rc17268 Yes, I am considering selling many (not all) LAMY, Kaweco, and TWSBI pens. I want to focus on my currently used higher end pens. I haven’t inked a single LAMY since last summer. Which venue would you use to sell? While I’ve sold plenty of leather TNs and goods, I’ve never sold fountain pens before.
Thank you for the lamy al star comparison.😊
So happy for you - falling into a couple pens that weren't even on your radar. They are both very classy 😏
Tortoiseshell is such a classic 💫 TFS Robyn 😊

You are very welcome!
That is a gorgeous pen! Congratulations!
Thank you!

@@MarcellHobbs there are a few Fb groups for selling! And there’s an instagram “virtual pen show” group that I’d consider!
