I am addicted to temu also. I bought a TON of the pastry molds for resin projects and did very well with them. Now I say if a mold has a nice shape i am filling it with resin. The angels, mermaids, and the fairies, which are soap molds seem a lil hard to color as they are deep and detailed. I think they deserve paint after the epoxy has cured. OH, AND, they are super cheap. Good luck

On your crystal mold, you can add a little alcohol to your mold, down the side AFTER the resin is hard to help you um-mold the crystal without turning the mold inside out or having to pull so hard on it. Doing it like you did will damage your mold over time.

Do you have a link for the glitter you got? Most packs that I've seen on there have been very small. I'd love to get one with a good amount. I do tumblers and would love it. I spend way too much on glitters lol

Hello I am new here! I am also new to using regular epoxy resin instead of UV resin. Which resin do you recommend to make something the size of that plant propagation flask thingy you showed in the beginning? lol I just know that different depths of molds require different kinds of resin and I am not sure which to get for what? lol Your guidance would be greatly appreciated. ~Michelle from Dallas TX

Back when I started I always used Famowood because it was at my local Lowes and that is quite a thicker epoxy and I used that for everything. Just with the pours in deeper molds I just did it half in half next day. I have been hearing you can mix again and do it a few hours later for less chance of a line. (thank you to my sub she said that) If you use EPODEX they can also help you if you call them , describe to them your project. I have called TotalBoat too when I wasn't sure and they helped me also.

I think I will give it a try. I just put on the resin from my glove over it. I haven't tried Uv resin.
